Combing studies show that emulsifying Argan oil significantly improves the conditioning benefits when incorporated into shampoo. Adding neat Argan oil shows a detrimental effect in most cases.

Conditioner
Combing studies show that adding both neat and emulsified Argan oil into conditioner improves the condition. However, emulsifying Argan oil shows a significant improvement in dry combing over neat oil when incorporating only 1% active into the formulation.
