• Make a copy of the passport identification page – this will facilitate the replacement if the passport is stolen or lost
• Leave a copy of the itinerary with your family for their reference
• Always carry a change of clothing and items for personal use in the event the flight is delayed for an extended period.

Travel Tips while in Penang
• Do not drink directly from the tap water!
• Dress modestly and appropriately when visiting local
dwellings and religious sites.
• Beware of theft especially in crowded places.
• Always keep a look out for traffic.
Discipline and Conduct Students are to take instructions from their teachers at ALL
times
Punctuality must be observed for ALL activities
Accidents, illnesses, injuries (however minor) MUST be reported to the teachers immediately
Students MUST NOT travel or move about alone. They must move around in their groups. In the event that someone is missing, they are to inform the teachers IMMEDIATELY.
Students must inform their teachers if they need to use the washroom.

Discipline and Conduct Students should
• Not leave their luggage or bag unattended in public places
• Not wear expensive jewellery
• Not pull our large amounts of cash from their pocket as it would attract attention
• Carry their wallet in their trouser pocket – Do not place it in the back pocket
• Obey the instructions of the teachers and tour guide
• Always ask when in doubt. They should never assume and act on their own initiative

or bombing at any place whether in
Singapore or Penang or on board the
plane. It is against the law and they can
be prosecuted
Embarkation and
Disembarkation Procedure EMBARKATION PROCEDURE
• Boarding pass will be given to you when you check-in your luggage. Keep it carefully together with your passport.
• Do not throw away the boarding pass/
• On the air plane, students will sit in their assigned seats. There shall be no changing of seats
• Speak quietly and do not disturb the other passengers
DISEMBARKATION PROCEDURE
• Upon landing, students will move orderly for immigration clearance
• After clearing immigration, students will proceed to the baggage-claim area
• Account for all pieces of luggage before moving out of the airport
Rules for the Hotel Room DO NOT:
• Consume anything inside the mini bar (small fridge).
• Remove any towels/ pillows and other items belonging of the hotel
• Run around and talk loudly and disturb other guests of the hotel.
