Instructions: This brainteaser is a fun and relaxing way to reinforce phrases and vocabulary from the above titled song. Working alone or in pairs, students will solve the puzzles by matching English/Spanish translations on all four sides of the individual pieces. Watch a video tutorial on how to use this activity in your classes. Here’s how to prepare this activity for your class: 1) Included in this document are three puzzles: one easy, one medium, and one difficult. Depending on your class size, you may want to print out multiple copies of each puzzle. 2) Next, I recommend that you laminate each page and/or print on cardstock so you can easily use these puzzles again next year. 3) Each puzzle is comprised of a grid. The easy puzzles are made of a 4x4 grid (16 pieces. The medium difficulty puzzles are a 5x5 grid (25 pieces), and the difficult levels have a 6x6 grid (36 pieces). Cut each of these grids into individual pieces. 4) In the center of each individual piece, you will see the name of the song and the number of the puzzle. This serves two purposes: It will help you with organization, and it provides the player with vertical orientation so they know which way to turn the pieces. 5) I recommend that all students start on a 4x4 puzzle, since the higher levels can be quite challenging. 6) To solve the puzzle, students will organize the individual pieces so that they reform the grid as it used to be before you cut them into pieces. English to Spanish translations must match correctly on all sides. Ser (Presente) Rompecabezas
