A big thanks to our SSA! We collected

RM 220 at our June Coffee morning for the Sahabat Support Centre. The center doctor said that some of the refugee children were malnourished, so the Charity Team wanted to help. All of the monies collected are going to food support for the day care/Kindergarten at the center.

The Charity Team took carloads of your donations of school supplies, toiletries, food and clothing over to the center. Our donations are very welcomed and appreciated. Let’s keep it up, SSA!

Our International Coffee will be a big event for our charity team, too. We will have a raffle and used book sale to benefit the refugees. Please consider donating a raffle prize or buying tickets.

Karine, Anu, Noor, Sneha and Laura

How Can I help?

We are collecting the following items at our coffee mornings. Just leave with a member of the Charity Team, and they will take care of the rest!

Donate a raffle prize—donated prizes ensure our entire raffle monies go to the needy. If you find an interesting gift from your country or your travels, it would make a great prize for someone while helping to raise money for an SSA supported charity.

Donate used books—the SSA Book Shoppe needs more books, for children and adults!

Collect travel-sized toiletries from hotels and airlines—these will be collected and put into gift bags for the needy.

If you would like to help out the Sahabat Support Centre, get

more information at

Omosa and Rizki Harahap such a warm and lovely welcome to our KL
