Dear Families, Welcome to the 2016/2017 school year We are very excited to begin a new year, to meet many new families, and to reunite with our returning families. We hope that you have had a relax- ing summer. We already have many wonderful activities planned for the month of September. Weekly lesson plans are posted in the classroom. To the right you will find this months themes and the skills we will focus on in all areas of learning and development. Informal assess- ments will be completed for each student this month. Once finished the teachers will share them with You. These help us individualize the program and ensure we are targeting the needed areas of learning and developmental skills. We are very excited to begin a new

year, to meet many new families, and to

reunite with our returning families.

We hope that you have had a relax-

Make a “Family Collage”. A collage of photos,

stickers, etc. that represents your child & family

for your child’s classroom. No larger than 12X12

September 16th

Grandparents /VIP Day - Bring your grandparent

or VIP for a special breakfast! Look for sign-up

sheet soon.

Back to School Family Night @Chuck E Cheese

September 23rd

Apple Day - Bring an apple in for your child by

Friday 9/16 to be used during “Apple Week”

Cookie Dough Fundraiser

•  Complete and return any forms you were emailed for the new

school year. It is important to have the most up to date information.

•  Please label all of your child's belongings.

•  Your child must have a crib size fitted sheet and a small blanket for nap-time

(in a backpack if attending AIL in Orange).

•  Make sure your child has extra clothes in a zip lock bag in their cubby. Keep sizes and

the season in mind.

•  Sign your child in and out everyday with a full legal signature and the time.

•  Please drive safely in our parking lot. Always use a parking spot so you do not block

other cars, the walkway or the entrance.
