a complex world our focus will be, based on the standards outlined by the Department of Elementary
and Secondary Education, to teach students to:
● Demonstrate civic knowledge, skills, and dispositions.
● Develop focused questions or problem statements and conduct inquiries.
● Organize information and data from multiple primary and secondary
sources.
● Analyze the purpose and point of view of each source; distinguish opinion
from fact.
● Evaluate the credibility, accuracy, and relevance of each source.

Destiny Discover is our library catalog where students can browse for books. Destiny
can be found on the CLEVER page under quick links - Malden High School Library.
Students can fill out a library book request form found on the Classwork tab of the MHS
Library google classroom. There is also a quick tutorial on how to use the Destiny
catalog found on this Classwork tab. Students can browse through the new books that
we received over this summer using the Destiny library catalog.
If students cannot find a book through the
MHS Library, they can use either Libby or
Hoopla, both from the Malden Public
Library. Directions on how to obtain a MPL
library card and directions on how to use
Libby or Hoopla can be found on the
Malden High School Library google
classroom under the Classwork tab
