Committee(ACC)

Thank you to all the residents who helped clean up clutter in their carports last month. The improvement was very noticeable after touring the community again and very much appreciated.

To help expedite resident improvements to home (exterior) and yard, we encourage you to pick up an “Application for Plan Approval” at the Sales Offi ce. We have had a large amount of active applications this summer. Thank you for taking the proper steps to improve your home’s appearance.

Architectural Control Committee Members:

Manager’s BlogOver the summer we had the opportunity to renovate a section of the horseshoe facility by Clubhouse #2, upgrade some of the critical drainage areas, improve the irrigation system in several key zones to improve water pressure and add refl ectors on Bear Creek Path medians for better safety at night.

Two housekeeping items to remember:

1. The mowers cannot properly and safely mow under the trees (fruit, etc.) unless you keep them trimmed up.

2. Please pick up after your dog whether it’s in your own yard or elsewhere. It is not fair to the lawn crew to just leave it in your yard.

Your cooperation is appreciated.

Fall is a great time to list your home if you are planning to relocate. Stop by the Bear Creek Sales Offi ce to see exactly how we can assist you in this process.

Have a great Labor Day weekend!

Enjoy your community,

Dennis Ahearn, GM

RecyclingPlease DO NOT put any more aluminumcans by the back gate.Only put them in the cans locatedin the clubhouses or in theClubhouse #1 parking lot bin.

The BC Watch Mailman reported (over the summer) that during the past several months two Bear Creek residents believe they had jewelry or silverware stolen by a man who came to their houses to buy antiques and jewelry. Bear Creek SingersAttention all singers! Yes, that means you … you know you’ve been singing in the shower! The Bear Creek Singers will be starting up again soon after our summer break. We are looking for new members, men and women, who enjoy singing and performing for your Bear Creek friends and neighbors and in area nursing homes. The ability to read music is not a requirement, but if you do, that’s great!

Our fi rst rehearsal will be September 11, 2014 at 3:00 pm in Clubhouse 2 and every Thursday thereafter at 3:00 pm until we break for the holidays, after our Christmas concert (date to be announced.) We will also be participating in the Variety Show on Nov. 15th sponsored by the Little Theatre Playhouse.

So warm up your vocal cords and prepare to join us this fall for some fun and fellowship. Any questions? Call Pam Whittet (Director) 675-6031

~ NOTICE ~ Please keep the water meter areas clear of debris and pet droppings.

Your cooperation is appreciated.

Thank YouIt seems so strange to not call Bear Creek home after nearly 15 years. Thanks to everyone who made our time in Bear Creek pleasant.

Patrick & Mary Jo Dimarco

Thank you, all our friends at Bear Creek, for your prayers, cards, and caring for Tom during these past 3 months. Tom loved living in Bear Creek these past 25 years. He enjoyed bowling, shuffl eboard, his fl owers, and his many friends. By going back to CT, he was able to visit with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Although his body was invaded by cancer his mind was great. My children and the Hospice nurses helped me each day to make his days comfortable and fi lled with joy. Thank you all, especially our neighbors: Margie, Lorraine, Fred and Patty.
