A Message from
your LTG
I had such a great time this past month! I loved joining you all
in your Freshman Orientations they were great!
This year is definitely going to be a good one. We already
reached the district’s goal of 18,000 members!!! How about
Division 5 tries to increase their membership (and maintain
them) by at least 100 this year?! will be sending emails on
promoting your club, how to have a good first meeting, and
start to the year! Don’t forget that these and myself are here
to help you! Division 5 can be the best it’s ever been if we do
so!
Also, please attend Fall Training Conference! If you cannot
attend I understand but it will have to be made up. It will be
lots of fun! See y’all soon and stay in contact.
Yours in service,
Dianna Cardenas

August Conferences
Here is the agenda for conferences this month. Presidents
should email me a date and time that is good for a conference
by the 20th of each month. If you have not emailed me by that
date I will start calling. I want to have a conference with each
President by the 31st of each month. Calls won’t last long and
I’m just doing this so that I have communication with all of my
clubs. These contribute to our Divisional awards (KCC Awards
and Strive for the Golden Key) so please participate!
Agenda
-How are you?
-How are officers, advisors, and Kiwanis working together?
-Does your club send in reports and newsletters?
-Have you updated contact info. on TO website?
-How did your first meeting go? or What are your plans for the
first meeting?
-Do you want to work towards DCON?
-Do you understand the importance of FTC?
-Are you aware of the dues collection and turn-in process?
-Are you participating in the YOF?
-Do you want to help with the divisional project? Does your
club have interest?
-What can I do for you?

* I have a challenge if you want to take it! By the end
of this year I would like you to have at least $250
towards ELIMINATE. If all clubs do this we would
have $3,000 and have saved 1,666 mothers and their
babies! This is the last year so make it count! Let me
know if your club will be participating! I will help you!
