1 SEPTEMBER 19, 2019 LET’S GET POWERED UP DAKTRONICS TEAM GETS THE SHOW GOING The Entertainment Technology class at North, taught by Jan Bowe, is gearing up for another crowd-pleasing year in the Doghouse. The students have been busy learning how to manage and operate the Daktronics Video Scoreboards in the Doghouse as part of their curriculum. Part of the learning is led by previous Daktronics students, who are now teaching the system to new students. Tyler Bruns, North Junior who is in his third year of working with the Daktronics system, helps teach new students how to operate the Daktronics system. North graduate, Abdel Gruetzmacher, who has worked with the Daktronics system since the beginning, helps teach students how to troubleshoot, run the livestreaming, etc. The Daktronics Video Scoreboards are made possible by several generous community businesses: Charter Bank, Coca-Cola, Kristo Orthodontics, Markquart, Oakleaf Surgical Hospital/Chippewa Valley Orthopedics, Mega Holiday, Bauer Built, Edward Jones, RBC Wealth Management, Jimmy Johns, Safety & Respect Driving School, and Student Transit.

The Entertainment Technology class at North, taught by Jan Bowe, is
gearing up for another crowd-pleasing year in the Doghouse. The
students have been busy learning how to manage and operate the

CLOTHING DONATIONS BEING ACCEPTED Please donate new and gently-used clothing items, shoes, jackets, etc. to Molly Thorp or Janelle Patenaude. These items are
provided to students in need, free of charge. Apparel for students goes to room 451. Workout clothes/shoes/swimsuits are
given to Physical Ed. for students. Black dress clothes go to Choir/Band/Orchestra for their students, and HUSKY apparel
goes to the Husky Wearhouse. Remaining items are taken to the Homeless Program at the board office for families to access
