Letter to the BuzzGeneral Custer or Colonel Sanders?
facts, observations, opinions
Why it's Preacher Collins, just changed his clothes!Tis ella come to St. Marie (Love Tat Cross Ministries)looking like General George Custer- levies, cowboy
boots, billowing bloused white shirt and a big 'ol cowboyhat. Glory be, last week I thought I was look'in at ColonelHarland Sanders! I didn't recognize the man. He wasall dressed up pretty with a beautiul long tails suit with
vest and tie. He did have the same ace and long hair likeCuster when I took a 2nd look. So I says: "Preacher, youclean up good and sure look pretty." He smiled but didn'tsay a word. His "Trow Down Revival" style is proving to bepopular cause olks keep coming back and bringing
riends along with them. His method o delivery andmessage seems appealing to many. Preacher John's "RightOut o Te Bible" messages and hard stand AGAINS"Political Correctness" reflects his old ashioned churchapproach. Along those lines, Nashua's Grace LutheranChurch brought Christian speaker Eric Barger (ake A
Stand Ministries) to Glasgow last Saturday. He spokeat the Glasgow Evangelical Church and I attended hisconerence. He spoke o many Evangelists and on thesubject o "Understanding and Resisting Postmodernismand the short comings o some churches maintainingtheir "Political Correctness" posture. His emphasis wasthat i it didn't say it in the Bible, it wasn't true. He echoedand re-enorced the same words o Evangelist Collins
Friends, a "Bible oting Preacher" isn't or everybodybut Preacher Collins sure seems to get the attention omany at his 10 A.M. Sunday service up at the St. MarieBase Chapel. He's a very demonstrative Evangelist to puit mildly. ~ Nick Chiechi "Due Diligence"(Who says I never write positive?")
