CAREER PATH…• Your Senior Research Project is a direct reflection of you and the career path you wish to obtain in your life. At the conclusion of your project, you will have a portfolio that includes: your biography, your career choice information, research on an institution of higher education where you can receive your training, a college application, a financial aid application, scholarship applications, a professional resume, letter of recommendation, a letter of inquiry, and a job application. A professional job interview will also be required.

choice? • What are the job duties?• Salary? • Benefits? • Drawbacks? • Job outlook? • Write an essay ( word document) describing your career path.

• 1. Wolfforth Lion’s Club Scholarship for Reese students• 2. Frenship Foundation Scholarship (for Reese students, • The link to these two scholarships can be found on the Reese homepage> Student’s tab> Senior Project – ELAR> Scholarships

• 3. Search for ONE additional scholarship and complete it. (Make sure you qualify and notice the deadlines.)

• A total of THREE scholarships is required. • Read the directions carefully! Short answer questions and essays will be included as well as letters of recommendation.

• COMPLETED scholarship forms must be returned to your English teacher before ANY course credit is given!!!

How many hours?• What are the degree requirements?• What are the college entrance requirements?• What unique skills and talents do you have that would benefit the company?• What’s the one accomplishment you’re most proud of? Why?• What would you do if management made a decision that you didn’t agree with?• Why should we hire you over the other applicants?

These are just a few questions that may or may not be asked. Be prepared and confident!
