Everyone can contribute to the web. Rich user interface and best in class graphics. 85% majority websites in web 2.0. Change is inevitable.

Use of metaverse in web technology. The rise of intelligent systems. Birth of the most awaited future internet. Webpages and Webplaces.


3D INTERNET

3D internet also known as virtual world. It is a blend of television, social networking and web. Second life and it’s “in-world” residents. Interesting and fascinating. Integration of every electronic device OTA.

To converge physical world and virtual world. Ease of use. To get rid of flat and messy documents, surfing a natural way. Get everything at your finger tip.

Successor of all web technologies. Flexible architecture, open protocols, intelligent and distributed systems. Virtual universe within physical universe. Use of avatars as virtual identity. Provides 3d map of every internet hub in world.

Simulation of webplaces in true to life graphics.


HOW 3D INTERNET WORKS ?

Using available virtual platforms i.e. Second Life. By using artificial intelligence. Using 3d eyewear like Google Glass. Implementing Sixth-Sense technology. Using sensors and holographic image projections.


INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS

Provides realistic 3D experience. Artificial intelligence and intelligent algorithms. Intelligent routing depending on network topology. Speech and gesture recognition. A new benchmark to the gaming platform.


TECHNICAL GLITCHES

• It requires high bandwidth speed, not possible for most countries.

• Hardware required for 3D internet is partially available.

SOLUTIONS

Use of 3G internet, which provides a max. speed of 14.4 Mbps for stationary and 384 Kbps for a moving vehicle.

Use of Google Glasses and vision station for preliminary hardware requirements.

OBSTACLES TO COMMERCIAL SUCCESS

Requires a transformation from 2D to 3D completely. Lack of virtual experience and hardware. Inconsistency in internet speed.

Virtual classes over internet from universities. Preaching spirituality of different religions. Embassies for tourist and virtual guide. Live sport stadium experience.


CONCLUSION

3D internet is a step ahead to future which could servefor not only as metaverse but will change the way weperceive internet of today.
