  • They are pronouns that do not refer to a

  • WE USUALLY USE SOMEBODY AND SOMETHING

    IN POSITIVE STATEMENTS

    SOME + BODY /THING/ONE

    Examples:

    Somebody brought a hamster to school.

    I have something to tell you.

  • WE USUALLY USE ANYBODY OR ANYTHING IN

    NEGATIVE STATEMENTS AND QUESTIONS.

    ANY + BODY, THING/ONE

    Examples:

    I dont think anybody in our class likes snakes Does anybody have a parrot as a pet?

    There isnt anything under the sofa Is there anything I can do to help?

    THE NUMBER IS ZERO.
