It is easy to load from both the ground and dock level. In addition, ahopper can be used to double or triple the loading capacity! Wastecan be fed continuously while the unit is cycling and no “clumsy”spring-loaded lids exist to hinder the user. The over 22 tons ofcrushing force will reduce the refuse to a fraction of its former size.The universal double-end pickup and new "dock friendly" designmake the RJ-100SC ideal for dock feed applications. Other featuresinclude fire hose connections on each unit and grease fittings on thehinges, guide rollers and ground rollers.

Marathon’s Remote Power Pack , separate from thecompactor/container, remains free of damage caused duringhauling to and from disposal sites and free of problems causedby landfill dust. There are no electrical connections to "make" or"break"-- two, simple-to-use, hydraulic quick disconnects couplepower unit to packing head. Weather Cover and the UL & CSARated Panel Box Assembly are standard equipment.

The "P" Seal is custom designed for Marathon's compactioncontainers and also aids in liquid retention. Extruded fromspecial compounds, the "P" Seal provides superior resistance

to oils and chemicals. The mounting is engineeredto permit quick and easy seal installation whenreplacement is necessary. No field fitting, cuttingor welding is required and Marathon supplies afull door seal as standard equipment.

Doors have Marathon's patented DoubleHinges with bronze bushings that assureliquid retention by providing uniform sealcompression without seal "scrubbing" anddamage. Each RJ100SC is factory tested forwater tightness. The Double Hinge also savesexpensive driver and truck time because onlyone easy-to-operate ratchet makes it work!

The Qwik Clean Tank ® with the exclusive Trash Check™feature, funnels any liquid seepage during compaction into anenclosed area underneath the charge box floor. The liquid isautomatically discharged at the disposal site, in effect flushingthe container and the area behind theram. The 12" high sump holds650 gallons of liquid and isdesigned to provide easier hookaccess for roll-off drivers.

Philadelphia Tramrail Company self-contained compactors can be selected most appropriately by finding the compactor which will accommodate your waste volume needs as well as your space availability. Our compactors are available in sizes of 12, 20, 30, and 35 cubic yards.

Innovative "one-piece" construction: Wear and tear on compactors typically occurs at the seams of welded pieces of steel. Tramrail helps to reduce this wear and tear by using fewer and larger pieces of pre-formed steel. The overall construction of our compactor requires fewer welds thus preventing the possibility of weld cracks and separation. Tramrail's "one piece" steel door plate, container sides, and box construction ensure that our compactors are built to last for many years.

Concave Doors: Tramrail's concave door design allows trash to roll up the inside of the compactor door allowing for denser loads to be compacted.

Continuous Welding on the Inside & Outside of our Compactors: Continuous welding on the inside and outside of Tramrail's compactor units ensures that there will be no fluid leakage from your container. To guarantee a "leak proof" environment, Tramrail goes the extra step of filling each self-contained compactor with 3500 gallons of water to test for liquid retention.

"Sure Tight" Full Door Seal: This uniquely designed seal forms a "three point" contact with the container so that liquids are secured within the compactor. This is yet another standard feature on Tramrail's compactors designed to prevent liquid leakage.
