www.dugeo.com Seismic Processing At DownUnder GeoSolutions we focus on producing accurately processed and imaged seismic data that is ready for input into amplitude and inversion studies. We have developed key technologies in coherent and incoherent noise removal, deghosting, velocity model building, data regularisation, residual moveout and migration to meet this goal. DownUnder GeoSolutions has a comprehensive processing toolkit which includes: DUG Broad - physics-based deghosting Source signature deconvolution using near-field hydrophone data DUG Reg - 2D/3D/4D/5D interpolation/regularisation Different refraction statics packages including MASW Wavelet-based ground roll removal DUG LNR - inversion-based linear noise removal DUG Deblend - shot deblending for simultaneous shooting 3D true-azimuth SRME and IME (interbed multiple elimination) Wide-azimuth tools including COV (common offset vector) processing DUG SWaMP - shallow water multiple prediction and removal Various noise removal programmes Comprehensive post-migration workflows We process all types of data: 2D, 3D, 4D, land, marine and OBC. Our largest project to date was 16,000 sq km - a single tomography run over the whole area. We have state of the art, highly parallel processing codes that take advantage of our supercomputing facilities which utilise the latest in co-processor technology. We have one of the largest commercial supercomputers in the world with over 12 petaflops of compute, 15 petabytes of storage and many hundreds of thousands of cores. This ensures we can deliver large projects with turnaround times faster than you’ve ever imagined. FIGURE 1 Stack section before and after azimuthal anisotropic moveout correction.
