nd Scientific Society of Hellenic Medical Students (E.E.F.I.E.) proudly welcomes you at the 2 SEERSS International

Congress in Robotic Surgery for Medical Students and Junior Doctors by EEFIE. EEFIE started its official stcooperation with SEERSS in October 2013, organizing the 1st Junior SEERSS meeting (1 SEERSS International

Congress in Robotic Surgery for Medical Students and Junior Doctors by EEFIE) with a great success. More than

450 medical students from all over Greece participated in the first event, showing great interest in innovative

technologies and their incorporation in modern medicine and surgery.

This second initiative is expected to be as much a success as the first one, based on 2 significant points: the

scientific and organizing experience of EEFIE as well as the participation of some of the most distinguished

speakers and successful surgeons worldwide, ready to share their invaluable knowledge with medical students

and junior doctors.

Furthermore, our mutual vision is to co - organize each year the main event of SEERSS International congress in

robotic surgery in conjugation with the Junior SEERSS meeting for Medical Students and Junior Doctors by

EEFIE. Given the great success of the 1st event in Athens, we strongly believe that this innovative concept of

EEFIE will provide each year more and more opportunities for medical students and junior doctors from all over

Europe in order to participate in a prestigious International scientific event , interacting with leading pioneers in

Surgery and progressively presenting their own scientific work.

On behalf of E.E.F.I.E, one of the biggest scientific societies for medical students in Europe, we are very glad to ndwelcome you once more at the 2 SEERSS International Congress in Robotic Surgery for Medical Students and

Junior Doctors, organized by medical students and addressed to all medical students and junior doctors. Ready

to live up to your highest expectations, we also expect you at the main event of 3rd SEERSS.

Finally, I would like to thank the president of the board of SEERSS, Prof. K.M.Konstantinidis, who has strongly

supported us all the way since we started this innovative concept of Junior SEERSS thus playing a determinant

role in its realization and success, as well as the president of the 3rd SEERSS International Congress in Robotic

Surgery, Prof. Gortzev for embracing our junior SEERSS meeting with great enthusiasm.
