SWITCH INSTALLED AT 48" AFF. SWITCH IS TO BE MANUAL ON AND AUTOMATIC OFF. SENSOR IS
TO TURN OFF ROOM LIGHTS AFTER 20 MINUTES OF OCCUPANTS VACATING THE ROOM.

2. CONNECT LIGHTS INDICATED TO EXISTING CIRCUIT. VERIFY TOTAL LOAD ON CIRCUIT IS LESS
THAN 80% OF FULL LOAD AMPERAGE. SHOULD LOAD BE LARGER THAN 80% CONNECT NEW
LIGHTS TO NEW CIRCUIT IN PANEL "A" WITH A 20A OVER CURRENT PROTECTION.
3. PROVIDE AND INSTALL RECEPTACLE AND CONNECT TO EXISTING CIRCUIT FEEDING THIS ROOM.
4. PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW 4" X 4" X 2-1/2" JUNCTION BOX FOR WIRING TO HVAC SPLIT SYSTEM
UNIT CONCEALED INSIDE WALL. FOR PROPER INSTALLATION REFER TO MANUFACTURER
DRAWINGS. UTILIZE 12 AWG WIRE IN 1" EMT FOR CONTROL WIRING.
5. PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW WALL MOUNTED NEMA 3R LOCAL DISCONNECT SWITCH FOR NEW
CONDENSING UNIT. PROVIDE A FLEXIBLE WHIP CONNECTION TO CU-1. WHIP CONNECTION IS TO
CONTAIN FEEDER INDICATED ON PANEL SCHEDULE. SEPARATE FLEXIBLE WHIP IS TO CONTAIN
CONTROL WIRING. REFER TO MANUFACTURER DRAWINGS AND COORDINATE WITH GENERAL
CONTRACTOR FOR PROPER UNIT INSTALLATION. REFER TO MECHANICAL COORDINATION
SCHEDULE ON SHEET E-001 FOR MORE INFORMATION.
6. CONNECT EXHAUST FAN TO ROOM LIGHTING CIRCUIT AND CONTROLS TO OPERATE FAN WHEN
ROOM LIGHTS ARE ON.
7. CONTRACTOR TO DEMO EXISTING SURFACE MOUNT WIRE MOLD AND ELECTRICAL WIRING FROM
MECHANICAL ROOM TO EXISTING OUTLET NEAR STOREFRONT WINDOW AND RE-ROUTE NEW
MATERIALS OVERHEAD TO AVOID CONFLICT WITH NEW MASONRY OPENING. SEE PHOTOS,
SHEET E-101, FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
8. PROVIDE AND INSTALL RECEPTACLE AND CONNECT TO RE-ROUTED WIRING INDICATED IN KEYED
NOTE #7. RECEPTACLE TO BE MOUNTED APPROXIMATELY 60” AFF WHERE INDICATED BY OWNER.
