How the Auction Works:

• Each auction item will go to the highest winning bid. • For group packages such as dinners and trips, the winning bid

can come from an individual or a group. The highest total bid amount will win. However, we kindly ask that one person from the group be identified as the point person responsible for coordinating logistics and making the payment.

• Live auction items can be bid upon in increments of $10.

Minimum bids are listed in the Auction Book and will be announced at the start of bidding for each item. Live auction items are numbered 1 – 21.

• There will be 2 rounds of bidding for Silent Auction items. If you

do not win what you want the first time, you can try to get something similar in the next round!

• Silent auction items can be bid upon in increments of $5.

Minimum bids are listed on each item’s bid sheet. Items numbered 22 - 86 are in Round 1 and items numbered 87 – 151 are in Round 2.

• Everyone should bring checkbooks to the auction to pay for items

won. Please make all checks out to “HBS Class of 2007, Section G”. The option to pay via PayPal will be available at the event, but due to PayPal transaction fees a charge of 2.99% will be added to your final bid amount if PayPal is used.

• NOTE: The auction committee reserves the right to pull a silent

auction item into live bidding.
