The aim of the research is

to develop and formulate the main propositions that could be

used in Russian practice, based on the experience of

foreign colleagues

The hypothesis to compare the development and current state

of the volunteering as a social movement and activity in Russia and foreign countries, thus

formulating the propositions, that may not only be used in our country, but also improve

the situation and bring new ideas to volunteering community in our city

Summing upthe volunteering activity is becoming an

inevitable part of our everyday life, so we need to pay more attention to the

areas, where we can be useful for others. People don’t need our pity, they

need our help
