IV. CONCLUSION
Grant of this counterproposal is in the public interest because it will provide new first
local service at Hope, Indiana; Lyndon, Kentucky; and Lewisport, Kentucky with a combined
population of 13,148, and a net gain in radio service to 387,083. All communities will retain
local service, and any loss areas will remain well served. CXR is confident that the changes can
be implemented smoothly with a minimum of disruption. Accordingly, the Commission should
grant this counterproposal.
Respectfully submitted,
CXR HOLDINGS, L.L.C.
