SEASON'S GREETINGS - HAPPY NEW YEAR J.MAYER.H would like to thank all of our partners and friends for many rewarding collaborations and a fantastic 2015 -- a year in which we were able to realize a number of national and international projects with great enthusiasm and success. Here are some highlights: In Germany, we finished the Sonnenhof complex, a project consisting of four new buildings with office and residential spaces in the historical center of Jena. The city of Karlsruhe celebrated its third centennial in the J.MAYER.H-designed event pavilion KA300, which was erected in the city's Schlossgarten in the spring. In Berlin, we continued work on Volt Berlin, a new concept mall for lifestyle, brands, and urban experience near Alexanderplatz, with construction set to begin in 2016. The year also saw the start of interior and facade work for FOM University in Düsseldorf, where completion is scheduled for spring 2016. Meanwhile, two more Düsseldorf projects -- Quartier M - Living Central, a high-rise housing block and Rhein740, a medical services and residential high-rise -- continued into the next planning phase. In Georgia, the Pipia Villa and the Saakashvili Presidential Library in Tbilisi were completed. For Revolution, a collection of limited edition, pre-crafted structures introduced by design and real estate developer Robbie Antonio, we designed the Palloon Relaxation Pavilion, a cozy, intimate oasis for retreat and relaxation. In another collaborative project with Keenen/Riley, WORKac, Nicolas Buffe, and Clavel Arquitectos, we are working on a facade for Museum Garage in the Design District in Miami, Florida, USA. Construction will begin in 2016. Our projects, sculptures, and installations were featured in a number of exhibitions in 2015, with presentations including the solo show BLOCK.BUSTER at In-Cite Gallery, Bangalore and Vis-a-Vis Gallery in New Delhi, India. We designed an installation called Hands-On with support from AIT and STO Werkstatt for the European Conference of Leading Architects (ECOLA) Awards in London. Numerous projects were included in an exhibition at FIN-GER in Würzburg, Germany, at MAXXI in Rome, and at the Museum für Gestaltung in Zürich, Switzerland. Top-View-Melt-Down, our project for the Antarctic Pavilion at the 2014 Venice Biennale, was presented at the Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow in 2015. We proudly published our new monograph could should would with publisher Hatje Cantz. The monograph gives a broad overview of almost all of our projects, along with insightful texts by Ana Miljacki, John Paul Ricco, and Georges Teyssot. We won two A+ Architizer Awards for the Court of Justice in Hasselt, Belgium and the Highway Rest Stop in Lochini, Georgia, lectured at institutions including KOTOR Apaa in Montenegro, the Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design in Moscow, theIAVA Conference in Tel Aviv, and many others. 2016 will continue our dynamic development with many exciting projects in the United States, Asia, and Europe. March will mark J.MAYER.H's third exhibition and presentation at MIPIM in Cannes. In April, we will open our solo exhibition at the Haus am Waldssee, Berlin with an immersive installation, architecture models, and sketches from our archive that will be exhibited for the first time. We look forward to continuing our productive collaborations with you, and sharing an exciting 2016.
