These extraordinary voyages will showcase the best of the Amazon and include ports of call such as Manaus, Brazil; Leticia, Colombia; Pebas, Peru and more.

The Amazon voyages feature an expedition team to provide guests with in depth information about the great river and wilderness. The team will also be leading complimentary Zodiac safaris and jungle treks to get up close and personal with the Amazonian wildlife as well as the incredible flora and fauna. SEADREAM is offering unique excursions, featuring Amazonian tribes, museums and markets and the jungle’s exotic plants and animals.

Guests can take optional evening canoe trips searching for crocodiles, snakes and other nocturnal creatures or enjoy a riverboat ride to see rare pink dolphins. Amazon ExpeditionsAn expedition team of 5 Naturalists will be aboard providing in depth information about the great river wilderness. Excursions will feature the jungle’s exotic plants and animals, Amazonian tribes, museums and markets. Optional pre and post voyage over-land adventures feature one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu.

Functions of the expedition team: - Daily Lectures and Power Point Presentations in the Main Salon. In the lower

Sailing aboard SEADREAM’s Amazon voyages, you’ll meet award-winning photographer, Sue Flood who spent 11 years with the world-renowned BBC Natural History Unit and Sir David Attenborough. Pebas

Alter do Chao

Pebas, is perhaps the oldest town in the Peruvian Amazon and lies downriver from Iquitos. It’s an attractive, largely palm-thatched town and still relatively rustic and unspoiled.

The Witoto and Bora Indians arrived here in the 1930s after being relocated from the Colombian Amazon. They are producing quality artifacts for sale to visitors. The Indians retained much of their traditional knowledge of songs, dances and legends, plus significant ethno-pharmacological practice in rainforest medicine. This region is known for caimans, significant birdlife, butterfly watching, the study of orchids and bromeliads in bloom and for its fishing – piranha being one of the easiest to catch. SEADREAM guests will have the opportunity to visit the famous artist Francisco Grippa’s home and gallery as well as some of the local Indian villages.

The beach resort of Alter do Chao sits on the Tapajos River and is tucked into a bay flanked by two hills. One of the hills, resembling the shape of a church altar, gives the place its name. Giving the town its beauty are the white-sand beaches of the bay and the deep blue waters of the Tapajos River. As refreshing as a cool beverage is a dip in the inviting waters or a rest under a leafy palm tree, both of which visitors find themselves enjoying during their leisurely town exploration. In Alter do Chao, SEADREAM hosts the always popular Champagne and Caviar Splash™.

Page 7: SeaDream cruceros Amazonas 2013

LeticiaLeticia is Colombia’s southernmost town, the only major port on the upper Amazon river and is located at the point where Colombia, Brazil and Peru come together in an area called Tres Fronteras. Leticia has plenty to do, with blocks of shopping abundant with local souvenirs to buy and a small museum.Tourism in Leticia has boomed and International students travel to Leticia to learn Spanish at The Amazon Spanish College. Visitors can enjoy the attractions nearby the city like Mundo Amazonico Ecological Park as well as Monkey Island.

SEADREAM is offering Yachting Land Adventures as well as the popular Chef’s walk to the local market in Leticia.

Manaus The capital of the State of Amazonas, the belle Époque splendor of Manaus is still evident in the graceful mansions and the Teatro Amazonas opera house. This city, resting on the Rio Negro, was created by the rubber boom of the mid-19th century. Today, stroll down the Parisian-styled boulevards and Italian piazzas, or watch the fishermen at Municipal Market unload their catch of the day on the rivers edge. There are several good museums, fine restaurants featuring regional dishes and the opportunity to purchase some locally made Indian crafts.

SEADREAM has several amazing Yachting Land Adventures planned for this incredible port.

WORLD´S BEST

SEADREAM’S twin mega yachts are a balance of casual comfort and refined elegance. “Yachting” defines the lifestyle aboard.

From the moment you are welcomed aboard, the smiling faces make you feel as if you are with friends aboard a private yacht. Be as relaxed or as active as you like. It is all about personal choice.

As day turns to night, pre-dinner cocktails call for mingling with friends and enjoying the hors d’oeuvres.

Accompanied by the live sounds of a guitar, the multiple course, leisurely dinner served under the stars on deck or in the elegantly appointed Dining Salon, is sure to delight.

At night you could try your luck in the Casino or enjoy a libation at the Top of The Yacht Bar. Sit back and enjoy a Starlit Movie™ or concert under the stars around the pool deck.

Since our founding in 2001, SEADREAM YACHT CLUB, with its twin, elegant mega-yachts SEADREAM I and II, has received multiple awards, honors and accolades from authoritative travel publications, various industry organizations and unsolicited guest comments.

The 2013 Berlitz Guide to Cruising & Cruise Ships, announced in September 2012 that the 112-guest mega yachts SEADREAM I and SEADREAM II have again achieved the top two ratings in the ‘Boutique Ships’ category (50 – 250 passengers).
