Ensto’s underground solutionssupplemented with separable connectors
Safe and reliable screened separable connectors sup-plement Ensto’s under-ground solutions. In addi-tion to the heat and cold shrink connectors, the product range now includes 250 A elbow connector set URZJ 250 and straight con-nector set URZTJ 250, as well as a 630 A deadbreak set for use at voltages up to 24 kV.
Ensto’s screened connectors are used for installing plastic cables (12 and 24 kV) for transformers, motors, and especially SF6 switchgears both indoors and outdoors. Installation is quick and easy.

The screened separable connectors are safe to use and easy to install • The screened construction provides gre-
ater personal safety and reliability during use
• The construction is watertight as well• The connectors do not require a lot of
space, and there is no need for minimum installation clearances
• Disconnecting and connecting is quick and easy
• There is no need for any special tools • The cable can be connected to the network
immediately after installation• The connectors are manufactured from fle-
xible silicone rubber (USQJ 630) or EPDM rubber (URZJ 250 and URZTJ 250)
Tested According to StandardsThe connectors are suitable for switchgears as to DIN 47636 and EN 50181. They are tested according to the IEC 61442 standard and meet the requirements of IEC 60502-4 standard.
