APCE Ministry Team members are the cogs that turn the organization, the grease for the wheels of progress, the energy that fuels the future and the love the makes it all happen.
There are Ministry Teams that need you and your skills sets. Most ministry teams meet (more or less) monthly via conference call with an in-person meeting at the annual event. The exception is the Annual Events team which has some site visits in addition to conference call meetings.
Each team has a specific area of responsibility and need dedicated volunteers to accomplish the tasks which makes for a smooth operating organization filled with vision, energy and purpose.
Please prayerfully consider applying to serve on one of the APCE ministry teams. Below is a list of the teams and the ones with current openings and below that is the link to the application page. Descriptions of each Ministry Team and their work is also found in the application link.
We need you sooner than later, so act now and apply to join a ministry team and be a part of something very special. Your service will be a blessing to you and to those served.

EDUCATOR CERTIFICATION…HAVE YOU CONSIDERED IT? PC (USA) seeks to recognize and enhance the ministries of persons called to serve the church as Christian educators by certifying them as Certified Christian Educators or enrolling them as Christian Education Associates.
Purposes of the Process:1. Standards for the preparation and performance of Christian educators, both professional and volunteer.2. Mutual accountability between the denomination’s councils and the Christian educator.3. To set specific achievable goals for the on-going development of Christian educators and to foster support for them as they pursue these goals.4. To lift up the need for continuing education for Christian educators.5. Levels of educational leadership assist denominational councils in defining their own needs and in determining just compensation, commensurate with the level of their need.
Are you interested in pursuing Christian Educator Certification? You can learn more about this process from Mary Marcotte ([email protected]), Kristi Button ([email protected]), or Jenna Campbell ([email protected]) who serve on the denomination’s Educator Certification Committee.
