Downtown Scottsdale is a growing hub for technology and healthcare companies such as Yelp, McKesson Pharmaceuticals, ZocDoc, ZIVELO and Weebly. Within the area, increased density is permitted to create the vibrancy to sustain a downtown city center.

Technology companies and young professionals are attracted to Downtown Scottsdale because it provides a mix of specialty retail, art galleries, dining to suit every taste, legendary nightlife, and public art and cultural attractions with broad appeal. Also, these individuals and companies find that they can enjoy a higher standard of living for a fraction of the cost in other metropolitan areas in the U.S.

While Downtown Scottsdale is becoming known for its growing technology employment sector, citizens and people from around the globe can enjoy one of the most successful shopping centers in the southwest United States—Scottsdale Fashion Square. Considered the “gold standard” for super-regional, high end enclosed shopping venues, Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall includes 1.8 million square feet of retail offerings anchored by Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Dillard’s, Macy’s and Barney’s of New York.
