My Project: by Me.

Scott Squadere Prologue English 9 Fiozzo

My title shouldn’t be complicated. So I just put a cool picture I found. It is relative in my life because nothing too extraordinary happened but I’ve had a good time. You can hear about some of these stories and my opinions on life and my life. Even other things in general.

Scott Squadere Letter of Introduction English 9 Fiozzo

Hello, I am Scott Brian Squadere. Brian is my dad’s name and his middle name is my grandfather’s name. Sometimes I wish my middle name was Danger. Anyway, I’m 15, I have brown hair and blue eyes. I like a lot of music but not rap, newer hip-hop, pop, country, blues and jazz. I like comedies. I take Taekwondo because Tom Rushia told me it was cool and I’ve always liked martial arts. I used to do boxing too. I’m very close to my cousins that live in Niskayuna and I have cousins that I’m going to visit in Oregon over the summer. That’s all I can think of so have fun reading this.

Scott Squadere What’s in a Name English 9 Fiozzo

My name is Scott Brian Squadere. Brian is my dad’s name and his middle name is my grandfather’s name. Sometimes I wish my middle name was Danger. I do not know what Squadere means but before my Great-Great Grandfather came to the United States it was Squitieri. My parents told me that they wanted to name me Scott because it isn’t a very common name. My mom’s maiden name was Deo and I don’t know anything about that. That’s all that I know about my names.

Scott Squadere Sensory Experiences English 9 Fiozzo

At my cousins’ house in Niskayuna on the 4th of July a while back. I tasted a lot of different foods. I remember mostly Fireworks Ice-Cream and Hamburgers. I hear a lot of laughing and breeze-shooting. I could see leaves on trees and green grass. I could smell cheese from the hamburgers and smoke from the grill. Yes, I did steal the 4th of July example.

Scott Squadere Color Your World English 9 Fiozzo

I always like red. All the really nice cars I’ve seen were red. It was always my favorite flavor of stuff, like strawberry or cherry. I like fire too which isn’t really red but if I think of fire the first thing I think of is red. The color of my room is red. Red reminds me of summer when you look at the sun with your eyes closed. Red is a pretty warm color I think also.

Scott Squadere Room Sweet Room English 9 Fiozzo

When I was a little kid, I never had a game console until I was 10. Even when I first got one it wasn’t in my room. I never had a TV in my room until this year. So there really has been nothing for me to do in my room except sleep. So when I think of my room I think of the living room. There is a big fish tank in my room and if I can’t sleep I’ll just watch them swimming around. My room is pretty calm.

Scott Squadere Extended Metaphors English 9 Fiozzo

For an animal, I picked a wolf. I picked a wolf because wolves can be lone or in a pack. They are predators. I like the night, the moon and the forest.

For a food, I picked a sandwich. I picked a sandwich because you can’t go wrong with a sandwich. Sometimes you don’t know what you’re going to get because everyone has their own style.

For a day of the week, I picked Friday. Friday is the best day ever. If you don’t agree with me I will fight you. It is the last day of the week and then it becomes Saturday the second best day of the week.

For a song, I picked Time to Pretend by MGMT. It has a good beat and I like the rhythm. I know all the lyrics and I just can’t find anything I don’t like about this song.

For my Favorite Cartoon character I picked Bender from Futurama. That’s one of my favorite shows and he’s my favorite character. He is a Robot that steals.

Scott Squadere Personal Recipe English 9 Fiozzo

I see that you’ve selected to make a Scott this evening, well luckily for you they are incredibly delicious and simple to make! Well, to a Scott, you’re going to need a pinch of awesomeness. Then you will need a cup of explosion. You’re going to have to mix that for about 15 minutes or until it becomes one and heat it for a half hour and chill for two. If not baked correctly then run. You may add extra ingredients, season to taste.

Scott Squadere The Ultimate All-Purpose Excuse English 9 Fiozzo

I couldn’t get this project in because… I was too tired having spent yesterday with the Marines. I am near and far sighted. I had to wait in line in a tent to wait for a newly released movie opening, that’s why I wasn’t here all week. It was bring your son to work day and my dad is a fisherman and I was on the boat all week. My mom’s food made me delirious and I thought I was a housecat for three days. Then when I finally came into school with my finished project I was mugged, I still have nightmares about is and may not be in school for a few days. What project?

Scott Squadere Unfinished Sentences English 9 Fiozzo

I usually worry about… when I have way too much English homework to do when I also have a lot of other homework to do.

I feel angry when… I have to spend my weekend doing all the English homework that was assigned.

I’m moody when… I need to do all my English homework and I can’t finish it as fast as I’d like to.

I’m happiest when… I forget that I have a lot of English homework that was assigned at the end of the year when I should be studying.

I feel confident when… I’m about half way through all the English homework that I need to do.

I feel frustrated when… It’s a beautiful Saturday but I need to spend it doing my English homework.

I feel depressed when… I can’t finish all of my English homework.

I feel comfortable when… I put off all of my English homework thinking that it won’t take up that much time and I’ll still be able to do it all.

I feel nervous when… I wonder if I actually have enough time to do all of my English homework.

I feel sentimental when… I’m not ankle deep in English homework and I can remember what sentimental means.

Scott Squadere Synetics English 9 Fiozzo

1. A pen is much wiser because it is less elementary. There is no erasing pen. (unless you happen to have an erasable pen)

2. A clock is much smarter than a calendar short-term, but in the long run a calendar will help you more.

3. A question is easier to teach than an answer because sometimes question don’t need or have an answer.

4. New is more fearful than old because old has more experience. At least old knows what to expect.

5. Science is more of a promise than math because math can go obsolete. Physics can’t go obsolete.

6. A nightmare is more difficult than a dream because sometimes you can’t tell you a nightmare is real or not when you wake up. Usually a dream is more of a good thing.

7. A road is easier to close than a map because a road is one simple extension while a map is a network of extensions.

8. A mirror is more like a legend than glass because when I look in the mirror I see myself.

9. Find is sadder than seek because seek is looking for something you haven’t lost, like hide and seek. While find is looking for something you have lost.

10.A home costs more than a house because anyone can own a house that is material whereas a home is filled with your decorating and feelings.

Scott Squadere Telling Tales English 9 Fiozzo

Well, my family doesn’t usually tell the same story over and over because we all have so many. However, my Grandfather has a quote that he is always eager to share to anybody. It goes a little something like this: “Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.” Find a better All-American quote I dare you.

Scott Squadere In Other Words English 9 Fiozzo

“I won’t eat anything green.” – Kurt Cobain

“I have no interest in murder, and I have no interest in people dying … But I’m interested in people’s minds, and sometimes Manson puts thoughts together that I find really interesting. Have you ever seen his unedited videos? HE starts making a lot of sense. I’m sure people are scared of that, but to me, it’s scarier to watch George Bush try to make sense.” – Daron Malakian

“Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.” – Ferris Bueller

“It’s better to burn out than fade away.” – Kurt Cobain

“I’m a nobody, nobody is perfect, therefore I am perfect!” – Daniel Tosh

“Did I kill anyone?” – Charles Manson

“What I really want to say is there’s just one way back and I’ll make it but my soul will have to wait.” – Sublime

“Before I die, many will die with me and they will deserve it. See you in hell.” – Kurt Cobain

“Today is the greatest day I’ve ever known, can’t live for tomorrow might not live that long.” – Smashing Pumpkins

“All the time he’s boxing, he’s thinking. All the time he was thinking, I was hitting him.” – Jack Dempsey

Scott Squadere Flashback (from Nam) English 9 Fiozzo

The flashback I’m going to use is when I first met my friend Aaron. I first met him when me and my friend Matt were on the bus. I’d never seen Aaron before so I’d figured he was a new student. This was when I was in 1st grade and Aaron was in 2nd. He sat next to us and started playing with some Pokémon and asked us if we would like to play, of course we said yes it was Pokémon. I didn’t know any of them since they were some of the newer ones so I chose a bad one and lost. Aaron barely beat Matt. Later that week I saw Aaron riding his bike and invited him to play catch. Then he told me where he lived and I robbed him. Just joking we’ve been best friends ever since.

Scott Squadere As Time Goes Bye-Bye English 9 Fiozzo

Right now presently in 5/11/10, I appreciate my surroundings, my parents and all that they provide for me, my pets and my friends who I know have my back whenever I need it. Hopefully I will still feel this way in 10 or 15 years. Got to keep up the hard work to earn it. “It’s not how good you are, it’s how bad you want it.”

Page 21: Scott Squadere English 9 Fiozzo Project

Scott Squadere A day in the Life English 9 Fiozzo

He woke up, and that’s when it all started. He cleverly decides to take a shower but then got dressed and ate his great breakfast. He intuitively watched the news so he knew whether to wear a sweatshirt or a jacket. Then, with no looking back, he left into the unknown. Seemingly forever but then came back home at around 5:00 PM. Trying to do all of his homework while having a good time, he watches TV and does it all. After that, Scott decided that he should play Battlefield Bad Company 2 to make other people feel bad about themselves once they see how talented I happen to be at that particular game.

Page 22: Scott Squadere English 9 Fiozzo Project

Scott Squadere One Medium Suitcase English 9 Fiozzo

If I had one medium suitcase that I need to pack for a new beginning, I would pack nothing. Just carry the suitcase and be wearing a suit. We’ll see where that gets me. Maybe I’d have my iPod or a picture in the suitcase, that’s all the inspiration I’d need.

Page 23: Scott Squadere English 9 Fiozzo Project

Scott Squadere The Perfect Present English 9 Fiozzo

The perfect present in the world for me would probably be patience. My mom is not a patient person and has rubbed off on me a bit. I don’t like to wait. I can, but I don’t like to. Especially when someone is very slow at doing a task I could easily do faster. If I received this as a present if wouldn’t change my life per say, but it would be something I don’t need to work on. This would be the perfect present because I don’t know anything else I really want or need.

Page 24: Scott Squadere English 9 Fiozzo Project

Scott Squadere How to… English 9 Fiozzo

How-To write the How-To part of your project. First you will need some inspiration, which I lack in entirety. So you will ask all of your friends what they would do, and then you would search the internet because any How-To on the internet is probably real and probably not illegal. Once you get an “idea” open up Microsoft Word. You will need to expunge your “ideas” into words. At the end make sure that your printer does not worship Satan and eat all of your paper(s).

Page 25: Scott Squadere English 9 Fiozzo Project

Scott Squadere Advice to the Young English 9 Fiozzo

My advice to the young, I will start by giving instructions for in the womb. I advise you to fend off against other babies in there if there happen to be any. To ensure that there will be none in the future since nobody wants a younger sibling you should ravage the place on your way out. During the first few years of school and life do whatever you want since you won’t be able to get away with it in the future, soil yourself as much as possible and be a terrible child to make sure that your parents really love you. If you have any sister(s), do not play with their Barbies as this could lead to further complications in your life. Lie very often so that nobody can tell if you’re joking or lying or telling the truth. When you see a van that asks you if you like candy ALWAYS ask what kind, nobody wants M&M’s. My last advice is go to never-never land so you won’t have to grow up and so you can follow these rules forever.

Scott Squadere Dream Car English 9 Fiozzo

It depends on what you mean by dream car, a reachable dream car or an actual dream car? If it was one I could reach I would pick a Toyota Supra or a Honda Civic, if not then I would pick a Lamborghini Gallardo, or Mercielago. It would need a good stereo system and would need to be red blue or black in color. The interior would have to be gray or black. I would drive it in non-populated areas so I could race other people. Responsibilities that would come with it were paying for the actually car , insurance, and fuel costs.

Page 28: Scott Squadere English 9 Fiozzo Project

Scott Squadere Extraordinary Pet English 9 Fiozzo

My friend Aaron has 3 monkeys, 2 of them are black capuchins, and one is a java macak. They are all very different and have different personalities. Sometimes they are moody except Austin who is my favorite. Austin is a crybaby and hides in shelves when he’s scared. He holds your hand and makes them clap while he laughs and smiles, if you smile at him he will go into the feeble position sometimes and howl. Coby likes to swim in the pool if anyone is in it. He jumped off of a big tarp and jumped in once. Once Coby climbed all the way up a big tree and jumped off and almost died but Aaron caught him in his shirt. On several occasions he has called 911. Jeter is a fatty and likes to eat a lot. He will sit on your lap and eat all your food if you’re eating any. Jeter used to be extremely loud when he was a baby, he’s still pretty loud. He has a screech that can pierce your soul.

Page 29: Scott Squadere English 9 Fiozzo Project

Scott Squadere Are You Hungry English 9 Fiozzo

Of course I’m hungry. My favorite meal of all time is my mom’s macaroni and cheese. She got the recipe and modified it to taste. When I was little I hated it and I only liked that fake Kraft microwavable ones. She always makes it for my birthdays and I’m pretty sure the only ingredient is love, she just kisses the bowl and it appears. Someday I would like to be fed macaroni and cheese through a hypodermic needle. That’s all I can say because now I’m getting hungry.

Page 30: Scott Squadere English 9 Fiozzo Project

Scott Squadere Coping with Current Events English 9 Fiozzo

To cope with current events I don’t read the newspaper, the news, or the web about the war. I think it would be a lot easier if America as a whole educated itself about it instead of some people thinking they know it all but know nothing. September 11, 2002? I hope that’s just a typo or you just proved my point. The government should’ve dealt with it much better than they had but the past is the past and hopefully this won’t happen again in the future and we get out of this pointless war and deal with some of the real problems this country has.

Page 31: Scott Squadere English 9 Fiozzo Project

Scott Squadere Family Expectations English 9 Fiozzo

My Aunt Sue has really made me want to do well in school, she showed me some of the things that can happen if you truly apply yourself at a younger age and that it would be much harder to at an older age. She is a really nice Aunt, very understanding she always wanted to hear about how I’m doing in school, sports and in general. I really started to understand where she was coming from after she had done well in school herself, and started taking her advice about a year and a half ago and staring down academics. Without her pushing me I don’t really know if I would have gotten to the point where I am really doing well in school.

Page 32: Scott Squadere English 9 Fiozzo Project

Scott Squadere Epilogue English 9 Fiozzo

Hopefully from reading this you understand that I am a hard working diligent student but I really love fooling around and having fun. I enjoy many things outside of school and are probably a totally different person.
