He specializes in precast concrete segmental structures and has participated in the design and construction of some of the largest precast concrete segmental bridge projects built. Scott has significant experience with elevated balanced cantilever and span-by-span segmental bridges, and with construction site design supervision and inspection. Scott excels at managing, training and mentoring younger engineers. His strengths also include delivering projects ahead of schedule and below estimated budgets. Additionally he serves in the structural engineering community and continues life-long learning with active involvement in numerous national and international highway and rail transit structural bridge technical committees, including the: American Segmental Bridge Institute (ASBI) Technical Advisory (TAC), TRB Concrete Bridges, TRB Rail Transit Infrastructure, PCI Bridges, and ASCE Rail Transportation. Locally, Scott serves as a Trustee for the Seattle Chapter of the Washington Board of Professional Engineers (WSPE).
