Scott will have been with the Oshkosh YMCA Tennis Center one year come June of 2020. Scott studied Radio/TV/Film with a minor

in journalism and history at UWO. He played varsity tennis all four years of high school and college. He has played in 4.5 and 5.0 leagues throughout the valley. Scott taught at Valley Fitness and Racquet, teaching there for nearly six years under the tutelage of Scott Meixl. Scott has done a wonderful job this winter at the Oshkosh YMCA Tennis Center, teaching almost all ages, abilities and classes. Scott is married and lives in Appleton with his wife and five animals, including cats and a horse.

STEVE FRANCOUR • USPTA Elite Professional • USTA High Performance Coach/Head Coach for Lawrence University

Steve is entering his 6th season as Head Tennis Coach at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. He was

formally the head coach at UW Oshkosh for 23 seasons. He has over 400 dual match victories to his credit. Steve has a master’s degree in sports administration from Baylor University and resides in Oshkosh. Steve has been a teaching professional at the Oshkosh YMCA Tennis Center since 1998.

ROB HENSHAW • USPTA Professional Head Coach at UW OshkoshRob has been teaching tennis for over 20 years. He is a former WIAA Doubles State Champion. (1996) Rob is currently the Head Tennis Coach at UW Oshkosh and is a teaching pro at the Oshkosh YMCA Tennis Center.

ADULT

MIDDLE SCHOOL + ADVANCED ELEMENTARY9:45-11:15 a.m. Open to Middle School players plus elementary youth who have match play experience. These kids will build on skills that will get them ready to play USTA JR. Team Tennis, Tournaments and get them on track to play High School Tennis.

HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Open to all High School students that are match play ready and have been/will be playing competitive High School Varsity/JV level and/or USTA tournaments.

ADULT CAMP Monday-Wednesday8:00-9:30 a.m. INSTRUCTORS: Scott Niemi, Adam Hawley and Patti Stinski

A fantastic opportunity to take your tennis game to a higher level while meeting new people and having fun!

CAMP TO INCLUDE:Monday & Tuesday (days 1 & 2)• Stroke development and instructional drills• Doubles and singles strategy drills

Wednesday (day 3)• Instructional Match Play Participants will play doubles and singles (upon request) and receive hands-on instruction regarding play strategy, stroke use and more.

FEES (all six weeks) $260 Members • $300 Activity Members

OSHKOSH BILL VAN LIESHOUT MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT (City Tournament)

This will be a fun tournament for kids of various levels. It will be a fantastic opportunity for all levels and abilities to put their skills to the test and get a feel for tournament play. No camp day of tournaments. SINGLES • Friday, June 26 • 8:00 a.m.DOUBLES• Friday, July 17 • 8:00 a.m.
