Huss Sci-Fi Gear Renown takes the equipment listed in the Science Ficon Gear Toolkit (from Pinnacle Entertainment Group) and translates it into Renown brackets designed for use with Mercenary Breed. The (+2) bonus to damage increases the weapons’ Renown by (+5). “Powered” melee weapons can be created using the already given list of Standard Issue Melee Weapons — 0 RN. The (AP 4) bonus to damage increases the weapons’ Renown by (+10). These in- creases to Renown cost are cumulave. Alternately, you can create higher quality versions of the 0 Renown melee weapons by giving them a (+1, AP 1) bonus to damage and increasing the weapons’ Renown by (+5). This cannot be combined with the “Vibro” or “Powered” features. Another alternate is to requision “Explosive” ammunion providing a (+2) bonus to damage at 5 Renown. This is in addi- on to the weapon already issued through standard methods.
