Schulte wholly or partially owns 32 assets in which they act as operating partner andmanager. Darryl Schulte is a third generation hotelier. Being an entrepreneur at heart, Darryl decided to build upon his family’s knowledge of the hotel business and form the Schulte Hospitality Group with his father and brother in 1999. Since then Schulte Hospitality has grown to encompass all aspects of hotel management, development and financing. Through Darryl’s leadership and staunch commitment to the company’s core values, he has successfully grown the company from its first management agreement in Detroit, Michigan to over 44 properties in 17 states, with ownership interest in 33 of the hotels. Darryl continues to lead Schulte Hospitality’s growth through its key institutional partners, Starwood Capital Group and Apple REIT, as well as its various independent owner and investor groups. Darryl believes that the relationships he creates and nurtures are the company’s most valuable asset. Prior to forming Schulte Hospitality Group, Darryl started his career in hospitality as General Manager of various franchised hotels in California, Kansas, Missouri and Illinois. He quickly moved from hotel operations to hotel development becoming a pre-opening, development and construction specialist where he worked closely with developers, general contractors, franchisors, and financial institutions to ensure timely delivery of a quality finished product. Darryl’s professional achievements include developing and financing more than $400MM in hotel real-estate transactions, the successful formation and sale of Summit Real Estate Group, a real estate investment company that developed over 8 million square feet of mixed use space in the greater Chicago land area from 2001-2006, and the formation of a $500MM joint-venture with Starwood Capital Group which is still active today in the hotel space. Darryl resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife and five beautiful daughters. Darryl is a board member of Calvary Christian Center. Together with four others, Darryl has started an organization called Mission 1:27 to provide orphan care and adoption advocacy. Darryl has been recognized as General Manager of the Year and Top 50 Hotel Companies in the U.S.

A founding partner of Schulte Hospitality, Ray Schulte is responsible for all aspects of operations in our hotels. He has extensive experience in revenue development, cost containment, business planning, budgets and many franchise property management systems. He has implemented streamlined accounting and operational procedures using various software packages and has worked directly with the developers of these programs to improve and tailor the programs to provide Schulte Hospitality the best, most up to the minute, real-time information for each property. Ray has experience with several hotel franchise companies including Hilton, IHG, Marriott and independent brands working for such large hotel companies as John Q. Hammons, Sage Hospitality and Summit Hotels. Prior to co-founding Schulte Hospitality, Ray has had hotel pre-opening, property management, food & beverage and banquet experience with hotels of various sizes. He also has extensive culinary experience from working in various independent restaurants including the five-star Boulder Cork. Throughout his career he has achieved many successes including multiple guest satisfaction award, earned by developing tailored guest satisfaction programs as well as cutting edge operational procedures. Ray studied Business Administration while attending the University of Colorado. Ray is an avid sports fan and enjoys golf. He resides in Louisville, Kentucky, is married and has three children.

Kevin Gallagher is Chief Financial Officer at Schulte Hospitality, where he leads all capital market, finance, accounting, and legal activities for both the real estate development group and hospitality management company. Kevin serves as a key member of the executive team at Schulte Hospitality, responsible for the profitable growth of Schulte Hospitality. Mr. Gallagher will help guide and oversee Schulte’s continued market leadership and financial growth for many years to come. Kevin holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Colorado State University and an M.A. degree in Economics from Tufts University.

Blaine Anderson joined SHG as Corporate Revenue Director and in 2012 he was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Revenue Management. Blaine oversees a team of Regional Sales Directors and Regional Revenue Directors. This team has continuously produced top line results that exceed market and national benchmarks, utilizing a combination of brand and industry tools. Blaine has over 30 years of industry experience working primarily with Marriott and Hilton brands from the hotel level to regional and corporate positions.

As Vice President of Operations, Mr. Alexander is responsible for the financial and operational performance of Schulte Hospitality’s portfolio of hotel assets. He is direct responsibility is to ensure all of the hotels assets are aligned with the company’s culture and core values ensuring the delivery of exceptional financial results to our owners, delivering a memorable guest experience, and creat-ing loyalty within our team members. Mr. Alexander joined Schulte Hospitality in 2011’ and previously held the position of Regional Vice President for its full service portfolio.

With a career spanning over 25 years in the hospitality industry, Martin brings vast experience in all aspects of hotel operations and hospitality technology. Martin’s experience in hotel management coupled with his love of technology has helped him develop several software applications including a daily reporting system providing up to the minute online statistical reporting for hotel managers and owners.
