My latest CV: CV_L.pdf (1.5 MB, updated in Jan 2015)
Research interest: Nanoelectronics, magnetotransport in semiconductor nanostructures, Nanostructure Physics. Key words: Semiconductors, nanostructures, magnetoresistances, two-dimensional superlattices.
The most significant contribution / publication in the research area on two-dimensional superlattices: Physical Review B 69 (2004) 035330 . The only theory/ calculation which could explain main features of the data: Physical Review B 69 (2004) 035331 A visual tour of the work (theory): periodicity_reversal.pdf (1.2 MB, Acrobat Reader 7)A nice description of the work is available also at Physica E 22 (2004) 389. The work shows that calculations are approximate, science is not; visible horizons are not ends, but beginning of something else; experiment can surpass all imaginations, and can reveal what nobody on earth could fathom despite numerous theoretical and experimental attempts across the globe spanning over nearly five decades. The work emphasises pure (fundamental) research. I consider the work as the greatest triumph of all sciences and engineerings, all branches of knowledge and in fundamental Nanoelectronics research, the greatest achievement of human race on the earth and pinnacle of human reign on nature. The work was presented in 14th and 15th International Conferences on Electronic Properties of two-dimensional Systems (EP2DS14 and EP2DS15) held in Prague (Czech Republic) and Nara (Japan) in 2001 and 2003 respectively.
The following Nobel Prizes in Physics and several more recent ones in other subjects have been awarded for the sake of peace:2004: Gross, Politzer, Wilczek: Nuclear Physics (98th prize)2005: Glauber, Hall, Hänsch: (Laser) Spectroscopy (99th prize)2006: Mather, Smoot: Astrophysics (Big Bang) (100th prize)2007: Fert, Grünberg: Nanomagnetism (The 101st prize in Physics)2008: Nambu, Kobayashi, Maskawa: Symmetry breaking (102nd prize)2009 Physics: Kao: Fibre Optics (103rd prize) for the sake of peace Boyle, Smith: Digital photography (103rd prize)2009 Chemistry: Ramakrishnan, Steitz, Yonath: (x-ray) crystallography (of ribosome)2009 Peace: Obama: For the sake of peace 2010: Geim : for the sake of peace and Novosolov carbon lattice (rather than for cold atom lattice) 2011 Chemistry: Shechtman for the sake of peace2011Physics: Saul Perlmutter, for the sake of peaceBrian P. Future plan: Establishment of a full scale, self-contained, international centre for research on Nanostructure Physics and Nanoelectronics (ICNP) in Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. This is intended to be the epicentre of nanoelectronics research on earth.

If I win Nobel Prize in Physics: International Centre for research on Nanostructure Physics and Nanoelectronics (ICNP) Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh
The plan envisages establishment of a full-scale, self-contained, international centre for research at doctoral and post-doctoral levels on Nanostructure Physics and Nanoelectronics in Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. On several hundred acres of land in the rear of the administrative building of the university, costing equivalent of millions of Euro, the centre will house material growth and characterisation facilities of all sorts including molecular beam epitaxy (MBE), electron beam lithography by beam-writer, all sorts of microscopy, liquefaction plants of helium and nitrogen, superconducting magnets for magnetic field in excess of 80 Tesla and so on.
This is for researchers from across the globe, from Australia, New Zealand in the east to Chile, Peru in the west (except Bangladesh), to explore new horizons and to do research aloof from any prejudice.
If I win Nobel Prize for periodicity reversal in, for example, 2015, periodicity of Laureates will become as follows.Such reversal may also be fate or fortune of my colleagues, who are currently experiencing inverse periodicity enforced for a short period of time for the sake of peace; such reversal will bring the periodicity to normal to almost all of them.
The Nobel Prize for periodicity reversal has nothing to do between me and any woman or girl or boy of any age. I hope to share Nobel Prize for Periodicity reversal with Giovanni Pennelli and Xue Feng Wang and it is the greatest Nobel Prize for all time and for all time to come; this Weebly.Com site is designed to help achieve this World Cup.
