Situated on Alexandra Road South in the area of Whalley Range, Manchester. St Bede's College is a Roman Catholic IndependentGrammar School with an enviable reputation. The school was founded in 1875 by the then Bishop of Salford, Herbert Vaughan, and moved to its present site a few years later after the acquisition of the former Manchester Aquarium building. The school admits children from families of whatever Christian denomination. It provides a wide range of subjects and pupils perform well at GCSE and A-level.

The Chapel was extended in 2007, after looking at several

samples the decision was to purchase the Maxim Deluxe

One of the first schools to be awarded the National Healthy School Status in 2006, and the

winner of the TES “Best school dinners 2009” they needed a nice deli-bar area so opted for
