Galgotias University was established in the year 2011 under Galgotias University Uttar Pradesh Act no. 14.

Galgotias University with around 10,000 students on its rolls with 17 schools including Schools of Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, EE, EEE, ECE, Chemical and Computer Science) MCA , BCA , Management , Finance and Commerce , Hospitality , Pharmacy, Education, Physiotherapy , Forensic Science , Architecture, Humanities, Law , Nursing , Media and Journalism has emerged as a centre of excellence in education in the Delhi & NCR Region.

• Civil Engineering is the segment of the engineering profession that provides the basic engineering need of the developing nation.
