As exams draw closer, everyone begins to feel those exam shivers, the students, teachers, parents and the government. In today’s article there are written exploits from Plumstead Manor’s previous year’s exam results and tips on how to calm those exam nerves.

####Exam Time means Work Time

The target audience for my school magazine was students from plumstead manor school.

I made my magazine appeal to my target audience by including pictures of the school so they could relate to the magazine because school is a place that they were in regularly.

A feature that I have included in the magazine was a master head because this is a typical feature of magazine and this lets you know what the magazine is about.

I included in the magazine a medium shot picture of two pupils because these were people the demographic could easily relate because they are in the same age group.

Moreover in the magazine I included a picture of the sixth form building (learner) because this is the location where the magazine is talking about and it passes across the information better.

I also used a bright background with a pic of the school so that it is more appealing to read and look at because this is mainly the sort

of features my target audience would like because they are lively people.

I also put in a contents page because this is a classic feature in a magazine and it also helps the reader to know the content of the magazine.

The magazine would be even better if the page number stood out a bit more over the background. Additionally the magazine would be better if you couldn’t see the white borderline around the magazine. The magazine could be improved my adding a school logo so that the readers could have an image to associate the magazine with.
