Dear Parents,
We hope you and your child chose DHMO, because we value and teach our
pupils excellence, greatness and knowledge only learned here at DHMO. We
are delighted that you and you child are considering DHMO for their next step
through education. Here everyone is welcome and we strive not for perfection
in our students but for the perfect learning environment, in a busy, exciting
and happy community. This however is only one of many reasons to chose
us.
We here at DHMO have an excellent and extensive curriculum, which teaches
all our students to prepare themselves for the next step in their lives.
Our students all progress and develop at DHMO, all go on to greatness. Our
most famous, highest achieving students include Sandra Witch, 8th president
of the united nations Capitol press, Jazabell Clarke, fashion designer and styl-
ist for the world fashion society, and Wordal Vandaburke, creator of the first
teleportation system.
We have an ever-changing, ever-great future ahead of us, I do hope you and
you daughter will help make it the best.
John Brown, Head teacher.
This is an example timetable of a year 7 class. From it you
can see the varied curriculum of our school.
We use only RENEWABLE energy, which we get from
the SOLAR PANELS on our domed buildings. The
whole dome is covered in solar panels to maximise
the amount of energy produced.
We also use WAVE power, which increases our
renewable energy used. The wave turbines are
situated under the domes, to catch as many waves
as possible without interfering with our water
sporting activities.

Helping you settle in
Starting secondary school, is one huge stride in the lives of you and you
child, so we work our hardest to make the transition as smooth as possible
so the students can join in with the hustle and bustle of school life soon after
they join our community.
The introduction process starts with a visit from some of the students and
teachers to your daughters primary school to explain exactly what life is like
once you have settled in. The next step is an induction day at the end of your
child's last year of primary school. This will allow them to meet the students
and teachers they will be spending there next years of education with. It will
mean they become familiar with the surroundings a lot faster and the whole
process will be sped up.
We also issue each year 7 class with 3 girls from year 8 who have only re-
cently experienced the thrills and worries of year 7 life. These girls will be
there for the year 7s to give advice and become their friends. They have
been named as buddies, and always aim to visit the year 7 classes at least
twice a week.
To make them stand out they wear metal circular badges.
