Breaking the Barriers Essay Contest-Grade 7-9 Grand Prize Winner-Trip to one of the 2019 MLB World Series Games and

visit from Sharon Robinson; 10 National Winners-laptops for students and teachers and class set of books by Sharon

The American Foreign Service Association’s National High School Essay Contest-Winner-$2,500 cash prize, all-expense paid

two-day trip to Washington, D.C., to meet the State Department leadership and full-tuition paid voyage with Semester at Sea

upon the student’s enrollment at an accredited university. Runner-up-$1,250 cash prize and full scholarship to participate in

the International Diplomacy Program of the National Student Leadership Conference, held in Washington, D.C., and New

Better Business Bureau Foundation Student Ethics Scholarship-Multiple $1,000 scholarships. Juniors and seniors who are U.

S. residents, live in the BBB/Northwest Florida's 14 county service area, and have shown commitment to ethical behavior and

National Defense Industrial Association Hubert D. Harris Memorial Scholarship-Typically multiple $1,000 scholarships.

Seniors who are U. S. citizens, have applied to an accredited four-year school, and have shown prior interest in STEM career

are eligible. Awards based on educational interest in STEM or other technical career fields, leadership, academic

achievement, and other indications of need, character and noteworthy achievement. Must complete application, write

in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (“STEM”) beginning in 2019 are eligible. Based on strength and rigor of

Niceville Republican Women Federated Scholarship-One $1,000 scholarship. To be eligible must be female seniors who are

choice, and are recommended by principal, counselor, or teacher. Must complete application, write essay of 300-450 words
