Trip RulesStudent safety is the primary concern of everyone on this trip. The following rules must be followed. This is a school sponsored trip, therefore, students are expected to obey all school rules, in addition to the rules outlined below. Violations of these rules will result in disciplinary action from ORHS school administration.
Section 1- General rulesNo tobacco, alcohol, or drugs of any nature are allowed to be in the possession of any student. Parents of students who require medication must document in writing prior to this trip, any and all medication your child requires. This medication will be kept by a chaperone if deemed necessary.
No peanut products are allowed at any time on this trip, we have students who are allergic to them.
Students are required to be respectful and courteous to all other students and adults on this trip.
Students are expected to follow all directives from adult chaperones on this trip.
Be on time for everything.
Section 2- Bus rulesStudents must stay on the bus that they are assigned by Mr. Phillips at all times of travel during this trip.
Any video or music (whether it is on your electronic device or broadcast through the bus DVD system must be of appropriate content) No movies containing vulgar, sexual, or graphic violence are allowed. Adult chaperones reserve the right to eject any movie that is deemed inappropriate.
While traveling at night- no boy/girl seating, no sharing blankets, no sleeping in the floor or aisle of the bus. Even during the day, chaperones reserve the right to move students as they deem necessary.
While loading/unloading the bus, do not run. Listen to and follow all instructions.
Put all trash in the trash can. Do not leave any trash on the floor.
Drinks must be in bottles, no canned drinks allowed on bus. Drinks must be sealed.
Section 3- While at the hotelStudents are not allowed in any room other than the room you are assigned.

Students are not allowed to exit your room between the hours of 10PM-5:30AM for any reason. If there is an emergency, you must notify your chaperone or Mr. Phillips before leaving your room. Doors will be taped shut; any door with a broken seal will result in disciplinary action.
Go to sleep and rest, do not stay up all night. Seriously, go to sleep.
Loud behavior complaints from your neighbors could result in your parents paying for other hotel guests rooms (per hotel policy).
Section 4- All other timesRegardless of where we are, you must stay with your assigned group. You are not allowed to switch groups without the approval of your chaperone and Mr. Phillips. Your parents and I want to know where you are at all times.
Your behavior represents Oak Ridge High School, ORHS Orchestra, Mr. Phillips, your parents, and you as an individual. Represent us all well.
