What is Watch D.O.G.S.? National Center of Fathering – 1998

Goals Provide positive male role models in the schools to emphasize importance of

education

Provide extra eyes and ears to enhance security and reduce bullying

Members: Fathers, Grandfathers, Uncles, & other father-figures

Activities: read/work on flash

cards

help with math sheets

play at recess

eat lunch with the kids

monitor high-traffic areas and entryways.
