Volunteers in our schools

We are thankful for our volunteers, who �ll an important role inthe Sumner-Bonney Lake School District. As we start the 2021-22 school year with COVID-19 health and safety measures inplace, we’re temporarily pausing accepting applications for on-site, school-day volunteers. We are, however, currentlyapproving volunteers supporting after school sports, clubs and activities.

Please know, volunteers are still very much valued and critical to student success. We willrevisit this temporary pause in late October and communicate any new information. In themeantime, we allow visitors on campus for less than 15 minutes per day.

Public invited to School Boardmeeting, Sept. 22

The public is welcome to attend the next School Boardmeeting at 6 p.m. on Sept. 22 at the District’s Central O�ce(1202 Wood Ave. in Sumner) or view it virtually via Zoom(passcode 091430). The agenda will be posted a day prior to the meeting. Two ways to give public comment for the Sept. 22 meeting:

In-person: The �rst 30 people to sign up will receive a con�rmation email with details bynoon the day of the meeting. Sign up here.Online: Submit comments electronically here. Note: These comments will not be readduring the meeting.
