this amazing temple in the

12th century is something to

behold. This trip will foreverbe in my memory and I hope

and pray that I will be able to

return once again to this en-

chanting country of Cambodia.

THE 2ND TEAM OF WESTVIEW BIBLE CHURCH, MONTREAL, CANADA, VISITS BB1 KIDS

Pastor Steve MacDonald led a team with 7 people visited BB1 kids whom they are sponsoring. They enjoyed their

trip in Cambodia and they have a great experience. Please listen to what Claire Destounis, one of the team members,

shared, My husband Evange has wanted to go on a missions trip for years, being a dentist he felt he could bless oth-

ers with the gift the Lord had blessed him with. I agreed to join him and the rest of the team so that we could have

this experience together as a couple. Many people recommended that. Little did I know what God would do to my

heart when I would land in this beautiful country. The main purpose of this trip was to visit the BB1 orphanage in

Battambang that our church sponsors. Along with that we also would have the privilege to visit a country so different

from our own. A culture rich in history, some sad but mostly awe-inspiring. We spent the first 5 days of our trip visit-ing with and getting to know the most beautiful, warm and loving children you could imagine. The joy and love they

feel and shared with us is unbelievable, what a privilege it was to get to know them. God is doing an amazing work in

their lives and they truly areAsia's Hope for the future. Another amazing experience we had was to visit Angkor Wat

The kids at BB1, BB4 and BB5 just

completed the English Study LETS

GO 1. They studied and prepared

for their exam to receive their Cer-

tificate of Completion On SaturdayOctober 2nd, they took the test and

received their certificate on Sunday

the 3rd. They have been faithfully

coming to class and participating with

great learning attitudes every Satur-

day and Sunday for over a year.

Jill Kane said I was so proud of their

attitudes and success, I wanted to give

them a party to celebrate finishing the

LETS GO 1 BOOK. So, I decided that

I would have each home to our home

for a party and lunch. After I told the

kids I would have a party to celebrate

them completing the book. As we

started home on the moto and

thought I need to have all the homes

(BB1- BB6).

I called Savorn Ou to check if it

would be ok, he said yes, no problem.

He said, just check with the directors

of the homes. I arranged times anddates with each director to come and

enjoy the day together. They came

with the kids, staff and entire family.

Each day for 6 days we enjoyed fun,

games, crafts, stories, a DVD, some

naps and food!

Praise God for allowing us to have a

GREAT time together!!

I have now started teaching them

LETS GO 2. Please continue to

pray for me to be a good teacher and

that they would be good learners and

listeners. I really believe that learning

English will help them in their fu-

tures, not only in school, but also in

the work place as they get older.

Pastor Ketakun Thor of Grace Cambodian Church, Long Beach, California, is invited to teach staff of

Asias Hope Cambodia at Prek Eng and at Battambang about how to apply Scriptures in our daily lives,

and about the Family Life. He spent two days in teaching at Prek Eng, and two days at Battambang.

Savorn got an invitation to be interviewed, byTV3 of Phnom Penh on October 26, to share

about what are good things which Asias Hope do-ing to help the society in Cambodia. I sharedabout rescuing the orphans, providing real homes,warm clothes, nutritious food, and effective par-enting for them. I also shared that these kidswill be good people and good leaders in the fu-ture and they will be the transformers.

1. 20 kids have been rescued,

2. More orphans be rescued,

3. Safety and good health for the staff and the kids,

4. Funds to buy land and build orphan homes,

5. School fees for kids studying at University,6. Christmas gifts and expense in December, 2011 for all kids.

Sony conducted a two-day training on October 29-30 for

teenage kids in Battambang. They are taught about how

to live their lives in the ways and the instructions of the

Lord, and the blessings through obeying God.
