This quarter, ranking is leaded by Apoyo Integral-El Salvador followed by Banco Compartamos, Mex- ico and Paraguay Financiera El Comer- cio, with growths of 26%, 18% and 12% respectively compared to December 2012. Savings amount reflected in dollars de- creased during March. Devaluation in Venezuela was a factor. However, Sav- ings balance in local currency from Ban- gente- Venezuela increased 5% com- pared to December 2012. On the other hand, institutions with significant partici- pation over the total decreased in terms of Savings balance. AFRICA AND ASIA During the first quarter, Savings kept growing. It is important to add that the largest % growth was registered by AMFB Nigeria with 11.4% in terms of bal- ances. Saving account is the most important product in terms of clients. However, de- posits are an important product which is growing constantly. In terms of Savers, Savings account is the most important product around African Institutions. However, Akiba maintains a similar proportion of its cli- ents between both current and savings accounts. Growth remains with a positive trend within all African institutions which are mobilizing savings products. EAMF Cameroon reflected the highest growth up to 8.5% in terms of Savers
