Saviance Management Team

Rohit Mahajan is the Managing Director at Saviance Technologies in India. He has over twenty

years of experience in the IT industry in India and the US. He is also the President & CEO of

Software Folks Inc., US, Director at Software Folks Ltd, UK and Director at Software Folks Pty Ltd,

Australia. He has worked with IBM and Wipro. He has received several professional awards

including the IBM special contribution award for contribution above and beyond the call of duty. He

has an Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications from Coimbatore Institute of

Technology. He is a Fellow at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and is the past

President of the Delhi chapter of Wharton Club of India. He serves as the Wharton Fellows

Ambassador to India and is on the Wharton Fellows Advisory Council. He is a Graduate of the

prestigious Owner President Management program at Harvard Business School in Boston and is on

the Executive Committee of the Harvard Club of India.

Brig. VK Mahajan, VSM (Retd.) is the Director Personnel and Administration at Saviance

Technologies. He has over thirty years of experience in the technical and operational field of

telecommunications in the Corps of Signals with the Indian Army. He has completed several

programs like B.E. (Telecom), Post-Graduation in Personnel Management from Faculty of

Management Studies, Delhi University, MSc in Defence Studies from Madras University. He is a

graduate of the Long Defense Management Program from Institute of Defense Management at

Secunderabad. He was the officiating commandant of the elite National Security Guard (NSG)

training centre in India. He was one of the pioneers in raising NSG and training initial batches. NSG

is responsible for security of IP’s and special commando operations in India. He has been awarded

the chief of army staff commendation card for contribution to the success of the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

Brig VK Mahajan was awarded the VishishtSewa Medal (VSM) by the President of India for

distinguished service and outstanding contribution to the Indian Army.

Dr. Kapur is the Advisor – Technology and CTO at Saviance Technologies. He brings with him over

30 years of experience in the software industry –covering software development, SQA, software

products and services sales and IT management including Profit Center Responsibilities. He has

worked with organizations such as TCS, Xansa, SDI Technologies and ABC Consultants at C level

positions. At TCS he was one of the top performers and one of the youngest to reach senior

management levels. His exceptional knowledge in various verticals comes from his educational

background. He has received his Masters & Doctoral in Business Administration from Kent State

University, Kent, Ohio, USA and has done his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi,

India

Kaushik Bellani is the CEO at Saviance Technologies . He has 18 years of experience in IT industry

Sales & Marketing in large companies like Wipro, HP & IBM & Cisco India with a proven ability to

create, sustain, grow & drive businesses. He has taken owned and driven P&Ls, created new

business segments and channels for various companies in the last 18 years in India. Mr Bellani

managed front-end, direct & channel sales roles independently in a territory (Wipro), manned the

fastest growing branch office(Wipro), created a 150+ cr business set up a new channel to address a

geographically dispersed marketplace In addition he has managed the E-Business Solutions

portfolio and Global ISVs segment . He is a mechanical engineer with a PGDBM (MBA) from IMT

Ghaziabad.

Ritu Uberoy is the Director Technology at Saviance Technologies in India. She has over sixteen

years of experience in the information technology industry in the US and India. She has worked with

Silicon Graphics in their CIO's office in California. She has also worked with Hewlett-Packard in their

research and development team in India. Ritu has a Engineering Degree in Computer Science from

Delhi Institute of Technology and a M.S. Degree in Computer Science from Santa Clara University in

California. She is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. She established the Saviance centre of

excellence for Web and Mobile applications in Gurgaon, India and has been instrumental in the

launch of the flagship products: Viburnix, iLuminix and SConnect. She is a Fellow at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Sanjay Gakhar is the Program Director for Viburnix. He is based in Houston and has over twenty

two years of diversified leadership experience, covering software and hardware projects, with

industry leading PC manufacturers. Sanjay has over seventeen years of experience working at HP

in various capacities from Senior IT management, Program management, Software Development,

Operational Support, to QA. Sanjay managed multiple organizations delivering critical business

functionality for multiple business distributed across various geographic regions. .Sanjay is

particularly effective in planning, organizing, problem resolution and implementation of small to very

large projects involving multiple tasks, projects and people. Sanjay has computer science degree

from Edinboro University of Erie Pennsylvania and an Executive MBA with a focus in business and

management from Houston Baptist University.

Dr. M L Singla is the Advisor – Education at Saviance Technologies. Professor of IT Management,

Mr. Singla has been a faculty member at FMS since 1985. He has also worked with MDI, Gurgaon

and Tata Consultancy Services, New Delhi. He has over 28 years of professional experience both in

Academics and Industry in the specific areas of Information Systems, Business Process Re-

engineering, e-Governance, SCM/CRM, Strategic IT Management and Decision Support Systems.

He is actively involved in teaching, training, research and consultancy in different areas of

Management such as IT, CRM, SCM, BPR, Communication Skills and Time Management. He has

been involved in planning of IT usage and process renovation for organizations in the capacity of

Advisor. He has published more than 25 Research Papers, 2 Books and completed 3 Research

Projects. Currently, he has 3 Research Projects under execution. Worked as Dean(Alumni) of the

University of Delhi (2006-2008) and Dean (Examinations) of the University of Delhi (2006-2009).He

has been awarded IBM Faculty Award for research in BPR/BPM.

Joseph John, or Jojo as he is known is the Advisor – South India and Sri Lanka at Saviance

Technologies. He has spent 26 years with just two Companies: SKF Bearings and then NSK India

Sales Company, both world leaders in Ball and Roller Bearings. Jojo joined SKF in 1985 and rose

rapidly from being Branch Manager at Coimbatore to being Divisional Manager for International

Marketing and Aftermarket at the Mumbai Head Office, before he left them to join NSK in 1996. Jojo

started the NSK Japan Branch operation in India and helped establish its four offices around the

country before being appointed President of the NSK India Sales Company when it was formed in

2008. Jojo was awarded the President of India’s Medal for Best Outgoing Student at Lawrence

School, Lovedale from where he developed a keen interest in its Alumni and is actively involved in

the Association. He studied at REC, Calicut and has a Diploma in Training from the University of

Cambridge.

Ambassador Satnam Jit Singh is the Advisor – International Business at Saviance Technologies. He is a career diplomat with long and varied experience in bilateral diplomacy & international conferences, retired from the Indian Foreign Service in January, 2004 in the rank of Secretary to the Government of India, after serving the nation for over 40 years. His diplomatic career, spanning nearly 35 years, included 6 postings as an Ambassador. His assignments took him to over 100 countries around the globe. He also held senior posts in the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi, including Head of Africa & South East Asia Divisions. During his career, he has extensively dealt with economic & commercial issues, promoting India’s economic interests abroad. Before joining the IFS, he spent nearly 6 years in the Indian Army as an engineer. Since his retirement from the Govt. of India, he has been focusing on global humanitarian disarmament issues. He has worked as a ‘High Level Advisor’ with the UN Department of Peace Keeping Operations & is currently engaged as ‘Diplomatic Advisor’ with the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL), a Nobel Peace Prize Recipient NGO.

Devashish Bharuka is the Advisor – Legal at Saviance Technologies. He is the Managing Partner of

Bharuka Associates, Law Firm based at New Delhi. After acquiring a law degree from Bangalore

and a Masters of Law degree from Harvard University, he started his practice in the chambers of

S.B. Sanyal, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India. He then went on assist Amarendra Sharan,

Additional Solicitor General of India for a short stint before floating his own law firm. With a rich

experience of ten years behind him, he is involved in corporate litigation before the Supreme Court

and various High Courts across the country. His firm advises in specialized areas like telecom,

electricity, mines, information technology, coal, etc. He was declared an Advocate-on-Record by the

Supreme Court of India in 2006. He is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association and

Treasurer of the Harvard Club of India

John Dornbusch is the Director at Software Folks Pty. Ltd. In Australia. John is a stockbroker by training and Chairman of

Dornbusch Partners, a private financial services company in which he holds the majority equity. He was previously a state

manager for and senior executive of Macquarie Financial Services, a subsidiary of Macquarie Bank, Australia’s largest

investment bank. John has twenty plus years’ experience in corporate capital raising especially in the mining resource

and infrastructure sectors. He has also been a State Government appointment to University Governing Councils for over

a decade so have considerable experience in the higher education sector. John chairs a number of private companies in

which he or his family holds majority equity. He is the Chairman of ATEC Freight Terminals Pty Ltd which is developing

two large green field sites as inter-modal (road and rail) terminals. He is also the director of ATEC Limited, a public

unlisted company developing several new rail corridors required by Government and private sector mine (predominantly

coal) operators. In addition, John is the Deputy Chancellor of the University of Southern Queensland, recognized several

years ago as the world's best distance higher education provider and is a Foundation Fellow of the Australian Institute of

Company Directors. He is a graduate from Harvard Business School where he completed his OPM program.

Gurudas Sarkar is the COO of Software Folks Inc. (USA). His responsibilities include managing professional services

engagement, enhancing operational efficiency & executing the company’s growth & profitability. He has more than 20

years of global experience in IT. He has held several Sr. Executive positions including CFO of South East Asia operations

of Net Guru/Research Engineers (a traded company on NASDAQ). As a part of the executive management group, he

participated in M & A deals, dealing with investor relations including Goldman Sachs & played an instrumental role in

raising capital through secondary market offerings in US. He has served as a member of the board of directors for several

public listed companies in India. He has been on the board of governors for PDSIT, a school of IT under Bengal

Engineering College Deemed University. He acted as strategic advisor to multiple start-ups & established companies

across diverse industries. He has a bachelors degree from University of Calcutta, MBA from NIPM & is a fellow at the
