From Henham and Elsenham to Hellsenham or Green to Obscene

This land feeds people

The proposed site for the Eco-town would be this side of the

railway

Try this on a Monday

morning - it is grid-locked

A sight we see all too often.

Should be good when many more hundreds of cars want to pass

through in either direction.

Main access point to proposed Eco-town. This is the main line from Liverpool

Street to Cambridge and the gates are shut for seven minutes at a time.

Northern access to Eco-town. One way at a time. This is the main

route from the Eco-town to Cambridge. New bridge £3m

90 degree turn at each end. Traffic approaching from both directions

sound their horns to avoid collision. Hence called ‘Toot-Toot’ Bridge

Bottom of Chapel Hill Stansted. Good place to have a pedestrian crossing. Turn left here on your way home

to the Eco-town. This picture taken in the afternoon not in the rush hours.

Chapel Hill Stansted. A great place to be in the rush hour with alternating self regulated single lane traffic flow. How many cars will pass this way en route to

the M11 or Bishop’s Stortford?

Typical view of Stansted Lower Street in the mid afternoon. All traffic going to

and from the Eco-town passes trough a set of traffic lights at the bottom of

Grove Hill (in the distance by the far building).

Grove Hill just after single alternate traffic light controlled stretch. Parked cars make this stretch a self-regulated single alternate line. Nearly home to

the Eco-town

Nearly abandoned building site in Stansted - We are already awash with unsold properties.
