4.) Enter the URL of Web Page You Want to Save.

5.) Click the arrow next to “Capture Multiple Levels” to expand those op-

tions

5.) The number next to “levels” decides how far Adobe will follow links on the page. More levels will result in a larger file. “Get entire site” could result in a very

large file. Use with caution.

6.) Check “Settings” before moving on.

7.) Check “Create bookmarks” to try to save some of the sites links. Un-Check “Place headers and footers on new

page” to keep your file smaller.

8.)Click “Create” and prepare to wait a bit for your file.

Checking & Editing your PDF

• Adobe may not capture all of the site’s content

• You can edit the PDF to make it more similar to your site

• You may need to manually save individual pages and then combine them in order to capture the whole site.

• If you can make changes to the site to ensure more complete PDF capture, that may be a better option than editing the PDF.

9.) Adobe could not capture the navigation links. That means we will need to edit the PDF to include the links, and manually add the

pages Adobe could not get to.

10.) Click “Tools”

11.) Click “Con-tent”

12.) “Add or Edit Text Box”

12.) Enter the missing content using the appropriate font settings.

13.) In a browser, click on the links for any missing pages.

14.) Copy the URL for the missing page.

Web Page’s URL (Note: this is not the missing URL, I reused the image from the earlier slide.

16.) Save the resulting PDF, we will need it in the next step.

20.) Choose where you want the page to go.

24.) Drag around the area you want the link to go to bring up the “Create link box.”

25.) “Go to a page view”

26.) “Next”

27.) Select the page you want the link to go to and click “Set Link.”

Completing Your Document

• You may need to repeat the tasks of saving pages and adding navigation several times to capture all of your site.
