On July 12th e Nassau Pops will be returning to Greis Park in Lynbrook, one of our favorite performing locations. e first appearance in Lynbrook was in 1990 making this our thirtieth consecutive year of concerts there. e orchestra travels east just over our Nassau border to the soundstage of Heckscher Park in the Town of Huntington. en it’s back to our Mineola home base to bring Series I to a close on July 19th for our performance in Memorial Park on the Village’s new amphitheater. As of the printing of this newsletter, we are awaiting confirmation dates for two Series II concerts, one at Chelsea Mansion in East Norwich and the other at Lakeside eatre in Eisenhower Park. Once confirmed, we will post the dates prominently on our website www.nassaupops.com and on our office phone at 516-565-0646. We are, however, pleased to announce that the Village of Malverne has invited us back after a ten year absence. You can see us there on Sunday, August 4th at 3pm with a rain date of Sunday, August 11th, also at 3pm. Our return performance in Mineola’s Memorial Park is scheduled for 8pm on ursday evening August 8th.
