Guest speaker is Jen Crownover Comal County Commissioner Precinct #4. She will be encouraging women to step up and take leadership roles. . May not begin with snow, but surely has begun with cold rain! Hope that all of you are staying warm and dry. To those of you who have suffered the loss of a loved one, all of us send our condolences and our love. To those who are now, or have been ill, we wish you much improved health. Sandra has been experiencing some serious medical problems which have entailed many and varied tests, which are ongoing. She needs our prayers for answers and support. Brenda Butler has received a fantastic teacher award from the local VFW post in San Marcos. Special thanks to Loretta for taking down the Emily Anne display, and storing it for later use. Way to Go! Special thanks to those who sent news for the letter. We have been asked to arrive around 10:30 for registration. Lunch will be served at 11:00 with a hot dish, salad, and the desert will be a cupcake from a spectacular “Display by Alpha Theta’s Sandra Plumb”.
