Sasha Flynn, Creative Strategist, is a seasoned strategic marketing and branding consultant with over seven years of experience building technology, fashion, food, and spirits brands. With a Master of Arts degree from Savannah College of Art + Design, and a Bachelor of Business degree from Parsons; she began her career in advertising creative strategy, contributing to large-scale digital projects. Followed by a marketing / PR position at a boutique experiential agency. Sasha V Brand Consulting came to fruition after years of freelance social media and design projects. Our capabilities combine experiential events, digital projects, branding expertise and trend research. Daily immersion into culture is our creative foundation. MARKETSPIRITSSasha V helped launch Twenty Grand Vodka in 2012 as a part of an organic influencer marketing team. The task was to create cultural relevancy for an otherwise unknown brand in an over-saturated market. Our task was to gain brand equity amongst tastemakers and hip, urban consumers in all major cities.

The next few pages show a few examples of what we created. We designed a marketing strategy that superseded traditional platforms. We hit the ground running with experiential events and social campaigns to create a cultural currency for the brand to strengthen the identity in the music, fashion, arts and culture world.

Twenty Grand Vodka created a live art installation in a 20x20 space with a live wheat-pasting and social experience on the A3C festival grounds. Sasha V coordinated the event strategy and hired a creative team of artists, carpenters, and designers to execute the activation.

During the festival, Instagram photos were taken by promo models and 1,500+ festival go-ers. They were then uploaded via the hashtag #20GrandA3C and printed on-location. Local Atlanta artists: Sean Fahie and Brandon Sadler wheat-pasted the once bare walls and transformed the space into a ‘Post-No-Bills’ inspired experience using event photos and pre-designed branded posters.

Those who shared their photos via Instagram were offered the ultimate Grand Bar experience: samples of Twenty Grand Vodka products, branded tee-shirts, lighters, and cocktail recipe books.

OPPORTUNITYWe designed an outdoor lounge space for Twenty Grand Vodka during Essence Music Festival. The project involved building a 10x20 space that embodies the ethos of the brand’s image that celebrated the surrounding unique outdoor festival lifestyle.

APPROACHFaciliating vendors, staff, promotions, and licensing, we developed a sampling tent and lounge for festival go-ers.

RESULTSThe Essence Music Festival welcomed 500,000+ people to the city of New Orleans and our tasting tent received several thousand visitors each day.

Sasha V cemented Twenty Grand Vodka as the official liquor sponsor for Advertising Week in New York City. The music artists at some of New York City’s most esteemed venues, including Roseland Ballroom, the New York Times Center, and Webster Hall. Music acts were Avicii, Quest Love, just to name a few. Twenty Grand Vodka infused with Cognac was distributed to 50,000 of Advertising’s top executives and C-Suite professionals.

OPPORTUNITYTwenty Grand Vodka is a growing brand with an enormous amount of early supporters. We wanted to show our appreciation to everyone that shares their photos, bottle images, and event images on social media. We developed an Instagram contest just in time for the holidays to thank the loyal fans.

APPROACHSasha V launched the #HolidayGiveaway contest on Instagram where we invited fans to upload their favorite images with Twenty Grand Vodka using the hashtag: #20GrandVodka to enter for an exclusive holiday gifting opportunity.

RESULTSWith one winner per day, we saw a 350% increase in Instagram engagement for the 10 days that the contest ran. Fans received a personalized gift with a note from us personally, to further establish an organic relationship with some of the brand’s most vocal fans.

APPROACHWith a combination of influencer seeding, contests, and social campaigns we have built a truly organic and loyal fan base for Twenty Grand Vodka. The content is comprised of fan images, brand posts, product photography, and recipes.

RESULTSSasha V grew the @20GrandVodka social following from approximately 700 followers in July 2013 to now 60,000+ followers across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Hashtags such as #20GrandVodka and #20Grand aggregate almost 20,000 fan images.

CASE STUDY: JIRAFE

SOCIAL MEDIAMANAGEMENT

CHALLENGEThe question is, “What do people want to buy?” Merchandisers and eCommerce business owners conquer their angst and answer this exciting question with Jirafe’s Commerce Intelligence Tool. Surprisingly, even successful brands such as Nasty Gal, Bliss and Starbucks find themselves increasingly relying on Jirafe to increase daily sales on their websites.

APPROACHWe were tasked with building Jirafe’s social presence. We manage Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, and Pinterest. We make tech fun by optimizing a unique engagement tactic for social posts and promotions to put our clients first. We created a social hashtag: #JirafeTips, where we reveal best practices using our tools that translate to higher sales.

RESULTSClient retention and social growth increased by 20% in our first month of social media management. Twitter followers increased by 45% in 3 months.

CHALLENGE A small business with over a decade of experience in the fashion events production industry was looking for a brand facelift and turned to Sasha V for a new identity to increase sales. With a non-existent digital presence, RT Fashion Events wanted to focus on updating the brand to the digital age.

APPROACHRT Fashion Events’ brand ethos is timeless styles meets a modern approaches. We decided to create an Art Deco inspired brand identity, an ode to an era with classic fashion that is still relevant today.

RESULTSWe created a logo, website, business card, letterhead template, and Facebook page design. We redesigned the brand’s digital presence to be search engine optimized to drive more traffic to the site. Please visit www.rtfashionevents.com.

Sasha V developed a brand and PR strategy for celebrity personal trainer, Just-Train. This entailed creating a brand story, determining the market positioning, organizing social content, and further categorizing the brand’s fitness methodology.

With clients spanning the globe, including all-star comedian: Kevin Hart-- Just-Train was looking for an opportunity to expand its fitness company through brand partnerships and sponsorships. We designed a press kit that we used for pitches to Nike, Under Armour, Reebok, and Powerade. In addition, we developed a YouTube video strategy to create new monetization opportunities for the company.

CHALLENGE KollideTV launched in 2014, and we needed to create a highly social digital TV network for multicultural audiences with new, original webisode content.

APPROACHWe created the social media strategy for tech and creative start-up: KollideTV. For 4 months prior and 3 months post-launch, we developed strategies and managed the growing communities on a daily basis. By banding a team of bloggers, writers and content producers to contribute, @KollideTV flourished into a socially integrated digital television network.

RESULTSWe grew the social presence to 5,000 followers in the first two months across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. We established the social voice and personality for the brand, which highlighted popular culture, entertainment, and the most pressing trending topics of the day. Growing each day, the brand continues to thrive under the social development outline we created for them.
