Certain Love

I have always had a certain love Yet no one has seemed to understand Everyone says that it is weird Or that it is simply strange I have always had a certain joy That I could receive from many things And everyone just turns up their nose Yet to me is the most beautiful thing I wish that others could understand For it brings me such joy Yet everyone never understands For it brings them no joy Yet that is what I don't understand How such a perfect thing Could not be a bringer of joy A bearer of beauty and happiness The only one that could understand May be the young lady in blonde With such a sweet voice and soothing tone And love of yarns and poems I hope that she would understand If she knew what it was I really want someone to understand Besides my sisters who love what I love I have faith that someone would understand Even if they didn't love this on their own I have faith that they could really see What it is that brings so much joy to me The way the words are woven together Like threads of a scarf That serves a purpose of keeping you warm Is simply a miracle in itself The way the thoughts are shown so clear Like the dew on a spiders web

That is beauteous in the light Brings a joy to me for I can see For those stories they bring such joy To myself from great weavers Weavers of yarns that are so great That I can never stop once started With Austen and Bronte and Dickens galore And Dickenson and Poe and even more And Stein and Steinbeck and even much more I find that this is the utmost farm For the happiness of a reader of a yarn

A Backyard A flower grows and blooms In spring and summer rooms They show such beauty and color Like a canvas splashed with paint A garden is a place of life Lively and full like a man and wife With great beauty and growth For animals and plants together A tree is a sturdy thing Like the structure of a swing Deep and old and wise and true A holder of many things for a child The grass is a green thing Which serves each purpose from dance to sing It is fun to feel and walk in And especially roll in during summer Yet a backyard is a child's fantasy It is exactly what a child needs It shelters the fun and imagination And is filled with grass, gardens, and trees

A Life Displayed

If humans were put in a display in the zoo, what would the habitat look like? There are so many diversities for humans, that it would be terribly hard to do that. There would be trees, jungles, rain forests, and dry forests. There would be mountains, and valleys, and very large fields. There would be flowers, and sand, and sharp cactus plants. There would be seas, and lakes, and ponds, and puddles, and fresh water seas. There are as many different needs and habitats to our world as there is stars in the sky and sands on the beach. There is so much that is going on and so much that is not. To have one display of a human habitat and life in a zoo would be only able to show that one life, when there are thousands upon millions of important lives that deserve to be shown. To have one display about human life you would have to have a display the size of the earth for no two spots no matter how small are the same and a human is a human no matter how different or similar at all.
