seaside town and I study in Macerata to become a teacher.
I’m an optimistic, sociable and a bit moody person. I love animals, especially cats, in fact I have one: its
name is Nike, it’s chubby and lazy. I like going to the cinema or to the beach with my

Could have + past participle
We use COULD HAVE ( or MIGHT HAVE ) to talk about something which was possible in the past, but which didn’t happen.
You could have won the match ( But you lost it.) .Averesti potuto vincere la partita ( Ma l’hai persa.).
Couldn’t have + past participle
We use COULDN’T HAVE to talk about something we were not capable of doing.In this case, we can’t use MIGHTN’T HAVE.
I couldn’t have got there on time. There were no trains.Non sarei potuto essere lì in tempo. Non c’erano treni.
