Create BOM Redline:

Login SAP NWBC

Click Material BOM

Select Display Material BOMs

Enter Material, Plant, Usage and Alternative

Click Continue

Create BOM Redline: Contd.

On Display Material BOM screen, click Redlining

Click Create

Enter Name and Description

Click Ok and click Save

Assign BOM Redline to ER: Click Add to

Engineering Record

Enter Existing Engineering Record

Click Ok

Click Save

Assign Status and Chg. Relevance: Enter INPR (In Process)

for Status and CHG (Change) for Chg. Relevance on the ER

Click Save

Display CN and Validity Date:

View CN and Validity Date copied from the ER

The CN allows the user to track changes made to the BOM

Complete BOM Redline: Change component quantity

(Green), add a new component (Yellow), delete an existing component (Red)

View color coded representation of changes

Set redline status to Completed

Click Save

Perform Redline approval process

Process Routes: Process Route task is

created to send a notification out to the user to review and approve BOM redline

Click Add Sequential Task

Fill in required fields and click Ok

Click Start Workflow and click Save
